David Cross and Amber Tamblyn just announced their engagement. David is 19 years Amber’s senior! I know a lot of people are marrying older these days, but they just seem like an odd couple, don’t they? Who am I to judge, I’m single…but still…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Ok, I know who Amber Tamblyn is, She was the original Emily Quartermain on General Hospita. Then she went on to something else, like Joan of Arcadia or something like that. I know she was in a movie or two…But Who is that guy? It looks like she is dating her dad or something. Maybe because she looks so “young”?!? IDK wish her the best though.

    She played his “girlfriend” on “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” and while her character was more of an extended cameo they were pretty funny together, not that she had to do anything more than be mortified at Todd’s behavior.

    And, Alison, Cross is a comic who was one of the creators of Mr. Show, was a co-star on Arrested Development, and is one of the creators and lead in Todd Margaret. I highly recommend seeking out any of those series or his stand up specials. He’s very funny.

    Arrested Development is AMAZING!!! Esp when Liza was on! And Amber was also in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

    Amber most recently played “Masters” on House. I’m surprised no one has mentioned that. She was one of the better parts of the most recent season.

    Uh, my GAYDAR says Amber might have a private dick follow David Cross for a couple of weeks prior to the marriage. Or just call CHEATERS, NOW.

    Amber is an Intern on the show House now. She is raly a good actress.
    How she hooked up with that guy is a great question.

    @catty – According to IMDb (I don’t remember him on any episodes) Russ Tamblyn is scheduled to play a relative of Todd Margaret, which…ewww.

    Also, for anyone who has ever liked David Cross in anything, especially Arrested Development, I highly recommend Todd Margaret. Todd is every David Cross idiot character ever created rolled into an international incident and co-starring Will Arnett, and for the British posters, Colin Salmon basically playing every character Colin Salmon has ever played, as well.

    It’s on IFC which means it’s website is unusable even though they don’t offer their programming online, that I could find, but you can download the episodes on iTunes, which sucks but the show is worth it. Seriously. I may have hyperventilated from laughing so hard a few times.

    I first fell in love with David Cross when he played Slow Donnie on Just Shoot Me. Absolutely hilarious and very much worth checking out.

    RTVfan-yes that was him in MIB2. And I can see the appeal to him…he’s one of the funniest writers/actors I’ve ever heard…
