Did you guys watch The Real Housewives of D.C. last night? All I have to say is that I HATE Michaele Salahi. Like I said yesterday, she’s the new Danielle. She’s crazy pants. She looks like she’s high off diet pills, she’s so damn awkward, and DUMB…I pretty much wanted to shake her the whole episode. But, overall I wasn’t too impressed. And, I have to be honest, I can NEVER judge a show off it’s first episode because so much of it is set-up. But I have to say that I don’t LOVE any of the characters yet…I mean I kind of like Cat, but that’s only because she’s a cliche of herself. Her accent was almost like a cartoon version of how you’d think Prince Charles would talk. Jury’s still out on Mary, and Stacie for me…but, how about Mary’s comment to Stacie about the hair salons? I was like…um, shut your mouth Mary!

And let’s talk about Lynda for a sec, I only like her because she hates Michaele, but how how can she claim to have the BEST, and biggest modeling agency in D.C. when it’s run out of her house?

Who knows what kind of “DRAMA” these women will have other than hating Michaele, and Stacie not liking Cat for being a Bush lover.

So far, I’m a little bored, but maybe they’ll wow us with the White House crashing episode…who knows?

I’ve posted the The View/Whoopi/Michaele incident from yesterday:

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I watched it twice to make sure the ice cream headache I experienced was due to this show. My dislike of Cat is more than just her love of Bush (we got plenty of idiots in this country with that infliction) but that in her self-absorbed way, it is based on a wedding invite? And I am up to here with Brits coming over here and making snotty “aren’t Americans simpletons” statements and thinking that their accents cover up the bitchiness. Don’t come, no one invited you!
I am not sure about some of the women yet – their men are rather adorable.
But I am sure about Michealalele (however the fuck she spells her name) – she and that thug she is married to are idiots and make the whole show viewing an exercise in excess alcohol consumption. That might be the only way to watch it.

So far no love for the DC HW’s, but I’ll probably drink the Bravo Kool-Ade & tune in to see the gate-crashers & the fall out. My two biggest problems with these women-#1, how much they are falling over themselves trying to prove how connected & “first tier” they are. Usually when you have to prove something like that, it means you’re not. And #2-why do some women who have a lot of money have such ugly hair??? Specifically the British chick & the one with 5 kids.

I’m confused why Stacie was offended when Cat said she didn’t like Tyra Banks, but not offended when Mary did that whole “ghetto finger-wagging gurlfreend” thing while talking to her. That was some stereotypical bullshit and one can see neither Stacie nor her A-American friends comport themselves in such a manner (Nor do most A-Americans, save from those portrayed on 90′s sitcoms/movies). I mean, if they did act like “Teresa from Patterson, honey!”, they’dve been finger-waggin Cat right out of that house, lol.
Cat was being petty when she mentioned how she lost respect for Obama for not RSVPing her wedding. Stacie’s reaction brought on the LOLz..”Um, he’s running a country.” haha!

Plus, isn’t it proper etiquette for first tier people to not discuss politics because it’s considered impolite? Seems like that’s all these women do..

I think Whoopi may have been wagging her finger backstage, while using some choicer words. lol ‘Whoopi don’t play’! :)
