The Real World‘s Dustin Zito told US that he has no regrets about his softcore porn past. He said, “[The site was] going to take care of me. And I was like ‘This is a small website. It doesn’t even end in dot-com. All my friends had gone to college, but I couldn’t afford it, and I couldn’t find a cool job. Fratmen called me with this offer. I was paid, and they also paid for my flight, my meals, my clothes…I was like ‘All you want me to do is get naked and be in this video? Jesus, this sounds too good to be true. The site doesn’t make you look sleazy. It’s sort of classy, The videos are shot cinematically.”

Can I tell you my favorite part of his quote?? The fact that he called the site classy because the videos are shot cinematically. Because when I think of class, I think of cinematic porn. Gotta love Dustin Zito. I wish he’d just call it what it is…he was broke, and whored himself out. Ain’t no shame in that! At least he’s claiming “no regrets.”

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

He’ll have regrets in 15 years when, with the aid of a “hypnotherapist”, he “remembers” abuse and tries to sue the ass out of this “cinema co.”

He might also have regrets if he goes on Road Rules/The Challenge and CT gets a hold of him…

The only thing I judge him for is his denial about the whole thing. His need to make it something it’s not clearly shows his shame, whether or not he’s claiming no regrets. Someone needs a new dictionary. Porn is porn, you gotta do what you gotta do, but classy it is not.

You know, when I was watching The King’s Speech, I thought to myself, “This is good, but . . . it’d be way more cinematic if they added some guy-on-guy butt sex.”

Dude needs to own it and get over it. Things die down WAY faster if someone just says, “Yeah, I did it. And I really don’t give a crap what people think.”

Do you guys remember the days when Madonna was still relevant? Doesn’t this seem like the time when Playboy published nude photos she took in her earlier days? And all the tabloids and newspapers and pundits were up in arms about it? And her answer was “So, what?” OK, Dustin can never ever be as cool as that. And, yes, some people will always believe that there are varying levels of porn. But, shouldn’t he have taken the “So, what” route?
It just makes me wonder about these kids today. Yes, I totally just outed myself as an old lady. So, what?

I completely agree– but if he did have such a “so what” attitude about it, why did he never take the opportunity to tell anyone in his own way? Even when he was confronted about it, it took him a while to come clean with exactly what the situation was. Yes, I could see that he didn’t want people to judge him, but if he really didn’t think it was a big deal and really did believe that it shaped him as a human being, he shouldn’t have cared.

@lovesthehobbitses, my point was that he SHOULD have taken the “So, what?” attitude. But since he didn’t he will have to backpedal and explain for the rest of his life why he did this. When it would have been so much easier for him to just say “So, what?” And kept it moving.

After all the hype I decided to check out the fratpad site. Dustin has nothing to be ashamed of. If I was a guy, and I was hung like him, I’d be sharing it with the world too.

With that said, why are people annoyed that he isn’t more ashamed. Whatever his reasons, they are his. He shouldn’t have to live by other people’s standards. If he is fine with what he did, good for him!

@Sassy….I don’t see anyone arguing that he should be more ashamed. In fact, everyone on here is saying he SHOULD own it. Their comments are more about his claim that he HAS no regrets, but then displays behavior like he does.

What is the definition of Homosexual – Bi Sexual – Heterosexual? If you are a guy and you blow a guy whether it is video taped or in the privacy of your own room are you gay or bi?

Dustin – me thinks thou doth protest too much.

However once a whore always a whore and the more he talks about it the more the media stay in bed with him

But I would probably be insecure that my penis looks like white box. That’s pretty weird.

I don’t think who you have sex with necessarily defines your sexuality. I have always defined it as who you are attracted to and would ultimately have a relationship with. There are plenty of homosexual men and women who are having heterosexual sex and at the end of the day it makes them no less gay. On the flip side, there are plenty of heterosexuals in situations like prison where they are having homosexual sex out of necessity or as a means of power and intimidation.

And while he could very much not regret it, it doesn’t mean he wants to deal with other people’s intolerance. I agree that he should own it, but I am an adult who is well past the age of caring what others think. He still has a few years to get to that point.

Intolerance of others? Sassy, have you watched the show? Zito’s made some very rude remarks about homosexual men, which is the root behind many people’s reactions to his reveal. Also, it’s my personal belief that no one can ever 100% and completely say they don’t care what others think, so I’m pretty sure he’ll still be spouting off his cinematic schpiel at 50.

We are all intolerant of something. That doesn’t negate our own fears of intolerance.
