   Ugh…Bristol Palin. Didn’t ABC get the memo that her reality show tanked? That means NO ONE CARES about her! I love how in the promo for that show she said something about trying to hide from the spotlight but it was impossible. Pffft. She seems to be running *toward* it at every opportunity.

   I’m pretty meh about most everyone else, but I’ll likely watch. It’ll be interesting to see who they pair everyone up with. For example, both Helio and Apolo danced with Julianne; Shawn and Bristol danced with Mark; Drew and Emmitt with Cheryl, etc. I was really hoping Stacey Kiebler would be back.

   I will be interested to see the pairings as well since there is a lot of overlap. Cheryl alone has three (Gilles, Drew and Emmit). I doubt Julianne will come back so who knows who her former partners will get. I think it is a decent cast but I would 86 Bristol the Pistol (blech) and replace her with Mel B. At least most of them (excluding the aforementioned Pistol) were good dancers. Should be pretty competitive.

   Oh, you must not remember Kelly “Stompy the Wonder Horse” Monaco, then. After they shamed her into a dance off with J. Peterman so he could win the title he so unfairly lost to her on a popularity contest, they changed the voting structure so she could never win again. It was actually pretty funny.

   I was kind of hoping Evan would come back because he was hosed but he managed to make himself likeable once he was away from the junior high school that is competitive figure skating so he probably has nothing to gain from coming back. But I do find it funny that they’re still trying to make Pamela Anderson happen since she didn’t quite live up to expectations her first time around.

   Haha. I guess all I really remembered is that Kelly won. I forgot the rest of that stuff. So at least it will be interesting to see how the Season 1 winner stacks up against the others. I am guessing not so good.

   I can definitely do without Bristol. Kirstie, Gilles, Helio, Emmitt yes, and I would love to see Kyle and Carson. Carson could not dance but at least he was happy trying!

    Maybe these were the only people they could get? Maybe a lot of the people they wanted turned them down. So these are who they were left with. I hope Bristol is voted off first.

    Aw, I really liked Joey Fatone when he was on the show. I’d watch him again. I always thought Drew Lachey would be a good co-host. I’d rather have him than Brooke (or god forbid, Julie what’s her name back!).

    I can’t be moved to vote for the contestants during the show, so I sure as hell won’t vote to get someone on it, but it’s “nice” of them to open it up to those who care to. I bet Carson gets the last spot.

    I don’t get why Dancing with the Stars wants Bristol. Did they not hear the gay slur uttered by Tripp the other day which he learned from that family?

    I like most of the men, 3 of the women and would vote for Carson because he is just such fun to watch. I won’t watch the show but might play the clips of each of the dances when they become available online. I remember season 1 and Kelly Monaco. Her win certainly surprised me. As I recall, in her final performance number she froze like a dear in the headlights for a beat or two — something which the judges failed to even notice. Beginning in season 2 I started muting the judges comments. More recently I’ve just stopped watching the show.

    Yay for Drew Lachey. I genuinely like him (inasmuch as one can considering I’ve never actually met him).
    Double Yay for the lack of Kate Gosselin. She bugs.

    WHY!? Who the fuck cares about Bristol Palin? Why is ABC trying to make her relevant?
    I know they’ve stretched the definition of ‘star’ but all she’s done is be a teenage mother. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but she didn’t even make a sex tape with Ray Jay. Having a baby at 16 or 17 or whatever does not a star make no matter who your fucking mother is!
    Get her off my TV if you want me to watch your show ABC!

    Oh, and although I like some of the past winnahs, I don’t think they compete again. It should be all loosahs v. loosahs. OR they should do ALL winnahs v. winnahs.
