OMG. Poor Kirstie Alley! Did you guys see Maksim drop Kirstie last night on Dancing with the Stars? I felt sooo bad for Kirstie!! First, she had to deal with the George Lopez comment last week, and now this. She just can’t catch a break. At least she got all 7s. I want to make jokes here, but I just can’t…poor lady, she’s been through enough.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Maksim was right in saying that sometimes muscles just give out. This time, it happened to be when he was carrying a big girl across the stage. Purely a coincidence, right? RIGHT?

    I love Kirstie and I was devastated for her. How embarrassing. That’s like your new husband lifting you in front of your home, to carry you off to bed, but dropping your ass in the foyer. Things were off to a bad start.

    But I’m glad things picked up after that. (see what I did there?)

    The fall is at 22:03 if you don’t want to watch half of the show (and a dozen commercials) first. They also show it during the GMA clip.

    If Maks had a charley horse, he sure recovered well! Professional all the way.

    thanks @melange- i was trying to clip it so it started there. the fall is also on the GMA video below the show. i’ll fix the copy to reflect it’s the whole show.

    I felt really bad for her. It’s obvious he dropped her because she’s SO FAT and weighs a quarter of a ton but still MAX should have worked through the muscle strain/spaz and kept dancing NO MATTER WHAT! If Max was a true professional he could have lifted her up and carried her.

    Uh….Kirstie is awesomeness. I loved her reality show. Whatever happened to that? She’s naturally snarky.

    Watching it, it just looks like he hyper-extended one leg, and put too much of his own weight on the other so he was off balance. It would have happened with Chelsea or Petra, too.

    But they’re such a great pair, and I generally want to punch him in the neck, so she’s clearly bringing out a funny, charming and genuine side to him that I don’t think I’ve seen since Mel B. Glad he’s doing well enough to stay in the competition.

    @Mister Dangerously Oh Stop! By your logic he would have dropped your luva big ass Russel Hantz too then?! It wasn’t exactly a lift. It was kind of a drag but may have had something to do with her weight but muscle spasm may have also contributed. They did do OK though despite that.

    When you write about Russell Hantz’s ass remember to include the words “sexy and nibble-ish-ous” alongside big.

    Hey, I felt sorry for Kristie but she might consider a CARROT for a snack once in awhile.

    I honestly don’t think that it had anything to do with her weight. It looked to me like he lost his balance a little bit, leaning too much on the left leg. I’ve had muscles just give way before. Lots of people will think it is her weight though.

    And I agree with thajok. Kirstie is hot, no matter what weight.

    Totally agree with you vallegirl. I normally can’t stand Maks because he is sooo smug.
    I love him with Kirstie. She brings out a really good side of him. I hope they do well. I

    I don’t watch DWTS, but my mother does. She says Kirstie is a pretty good dancer despite her weight.

    I need to watch the video, I suppose. If only Kirstie wasn’t a Scientologist. I’ve actually always liked her, even from her skinny days in the Star Trek movie, but I hate to think of her sitting down to a church dinner with Tom Cruise.

    Here’s a video from week one–I’m impressed. She’s doing well and seems to be having fun, too. Plus, she’s 60! I’m fairly small, but he’d probably drop me because I tripped him by stepping on his feet.
