Ed O’Neill Is A Good Man

Ed O’Neill has joined the Modern Family lawsuit to be in solidarity with his cast members. Although Ed’s deal is different than the others, he wanted to be the people’s people by doing the right thing…and I’m sure there will be something in it for him in the end. He currently makes $105,000, while the other co-stars make $65,000, and are demanding more as we speak. Honestly, I don’t blame everyone for wanting more money. Modern Family is one of the biggest comedies on television, and the actors should be compensated. I’m honestly shocked that the cast gets paid so low compared to The Sheen Machine and other douchebags of his caliber.

I know it’ll all work out in the end, I just hope it doesn’t drag into something crazy where airdates are pushed. I certainly do love Modern Family.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

You make a very good point. At first thought I was huffing at the fact they are even making 65,000 an episode and complaining about it. Your point about Sheen or Kutcher and their hot mess of a crapfest show and they are making upwards of a million per episode. I get why they are suing. modern family is a smart show..cheers for ed as well joining his castmates.

You don’t get why Ashton Kutcher and Charlie Sheen both very famous would make more than a bunch of no-name actors? Love how they claim stupid now. Did they not have agents and lawyers to look over their contracts before they signed? Wonder how much Ed O’Neil was paid on Married with Children in the beginning?
