Eden Wood has announced that she’s retiring at the old age 6. The “real famous” 6-year-old must have been wiped out from all of years of stress her body endured from doing pageants. Annette Hill, the director of the Universal Royalty Beauty Pageant in Texas told E! News,

“She’s past beauty pageants right now. She’s a performer and an entertainer. Beauty pageants are a stepping stone for any performer, look at Sarah Palin and Oprah Winfrey. She’s been competing for the last two years with us and she is going to be a huge star. People love her, she’s a baby doll. I think her heart and soul is performing and she’s trying her best to get a record deal. She wants her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Here comes Eden Wood! Just like you know Justin, you’ll know Eden.”

Is that not the BEST statement you’ve ever read? I love that she just compared Eden Wood to Oprah and Sarah Palin, and used them in the same sentence. Personally, I wouldn’t say Oprah or Sarah, but more like Kim Zolciak…

I guess she just couldn’t hack being second fiddle.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Okay. I couldn’t stop myself I clicked on the video. And it was AWFUL. Not in a good, funny, still getting a laugh out of it awful. Flat out, grate on your nerves, wish you could get that minute and twenty seconds back awful. She’s not even singing. It’s some sort of affected pre-preteen rap.

    Someone stop her…before she records again.

    I agree with the Anna Nicole comparison. Eden could have been her daughter. If you ever see pics of Dannilyn now they could be sisters, seriously. Lets all hope and pray she won’t follow the same path as Anna, so much beauty and life wasted! I just read that Eden will be embarking on an “80 city mall tour” this summer. What a fun summer for a six year old! I guess they had to go when school was out so Mickie could keep her day job. Did any of ya’ll see the way she looked on T&T the other night when she said “Maybe the next time we come here will be to buy a house!” Yeh, you go do that Miss Mickie. I guess they probably need teachers in Hollywood too!

    @June Summer, maybe Eden’s frantic prayers for the princess bed weren’t answered at the pageant, but she is now their official spoke-celebrity, so I guess she got one after all. I feel sure that the cost of one pageant would have bought one, but she probably really needed another showgirl outfit!

    Actually, the Sarah Palin comparison isn’t that far fetched, I might even mention Carrie Prejean, the Kardashian sisters, and Paris Hilton, a bunch of entitled moronic soulless princesses who constantly seek fame. Eden ranks there with these individuals as all are spoiled, lazy, dim-wits with inflated egos (although Eden is just a kid, and hopefully will develop healthier interests and get away from that awful, horrid mother).

    Speaking of Eden’s mom, I wonder how much hate mail Mickie gets? She’s so awful! I’m betting her love is very conditional. Eden isn’t that cute of a kid (and is becomming quite pudgy in the face). If Eden doesn’t “make it” I see her mom’s love turning quite sour. Mickie is in it to be famose and rich, and her daughter is supposed to take her there. Only that kid doesn’t have anything special going for her and I doubt will make it, even as a child model.

    I think that the sad part is how badly Eden has been misled. The little girl really believes that she is famous and is a star. I have a feeling that the T&T paychecks were barely covering the expenses and I would bet those are the biggest paydays her “talent” will ever bring.

    Eden Wood’s mother is just plain creepy. She aspires for fame, fortune and money in Hollywood…Eden is 6, she doesn’t know what she wants. The natural instinct for most mothers would be to steer their child away from that lifestyle… Save for college and hope that she becomes a productive asset to society. Take a look at the mother and you can see what the poor little child is gonna look like….yikes.
