Eddie Cibrian is ready to go to court to keep his kids off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Brandi is pissed because he just did a spread with their kids for People magazine with LeAnn Rimes. I don’t blame him for not wanting his kids exploited on reality TV. Glen Rice (Cristy’s ex) didn’t want his kids on The Real Housewives of Miami, so we weren’t allowed to use them. End of story.

On the other hand, I get why Brandi is pissed about Eddie’s spread in People. I do know that The Housewives franchises don’t exploit kids, so there’s no harm in having them on the show–it’ll only provide more story for Brandi. Plus, kids and pets are always cute to watch! Truthfully, the damage is already done with the press and their battle–so at this point having them on TV won’t hurt or better the situation. I say let the kids play!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I’ve liked Eddie Cibrian since Third Watch and now I like him even more for this decision. A magazine spread is much different than having cameras intrusively following you around at home, so I don’t think he’s being hypocritical. I say let the kids be kids — in the midst of all of this, they deserve a little normalcy and reality TV cameras certainly aren’t going to provide that.

But, See-Jay, the cameras will still be around. Eddie decision just means that the children cannot be around their mother during filming, which may take places as many as four days a week. So, in fact, his decision means the kids will have less time with Mommy doing normal things. Maybe this is all a way to get more custody(?). Either way, I think he did more damage to his kids when he left their mom to shack up with Squinty 2.0 (Renee Zelwegger being the Squint, The Original) than Brandi would do by having them in her scenes on RHoBH.

All we’d probably get to see is one of their birthday parties like Kennedy’s and Portia’s, anyway. lol

I should have said that I like Eddie Cibrian as an actor. I actually don’t follow his personal life so I don’t know the full story between he and his ex-wife. I don’t even know who his fiance is, actually. Also, I’ve never watched an episode of any of “The Real Housewives” shows. Sooooo, in short, I don’t really know what I’m talking about.

However, personally I don’t think that featuring kids on reality television is healthy for them so I commend parents who try to prevent it. Though I suppose filming a birthday party wouldn’t be too harmful.

The short version: Eddie filmed a Lifetime movie with Leann Rimes, and the two started an affair which led to him leaving Brandi and Leann leaving her husband. Brandi and Leann engaged in a press/Twitter war while Eddie was quick to introduce his kids to the homewrecker. Oh, and they got married a few weeks ago, I believe. Or maybe just last week. Either way, there is plenty of animosity between Brandi and the new couple so I suspect this is a power play on Eddie’s part.

But the kids on the Beverly Hill’s version aren’t around for any drama. Most of the scenes were their birthday parties, dance classes, and shots of them playing outdoors..showing us that obscenely wealthy mothers are just like us, they play ball with their kids too!

Now, RH of New Jersey..no kids should be allowed on that show! This upcoming season will feature a fist fight at a christening!

Eddie and Leann are the new Tori and Dean. I wonder if they’ll get a show of their own…and if he’ll include his kids.

I think the kids should be and will be allowed to be filmed for the show. Tiger Blood Sheen tried to do the same thing to Denise Richards for her show on E! And look how well that turned out. Sarcas is right, by denying them filming time, they’re really just denying them time with their mom. These kids have had enough to deal with.
OT: Are we really supposed to believe that Brandi Glanville is a BH Househo? Before Leann Rimes started banging her husband, ii I’ve never heard of Brandi OR Eddie! They’re both supposedly “actors”, I would just think that such triple ZList actors would not be able to afford BH.

LOL @ Jeanine! Maybe Lifetime pays more than we thought! I would also like to know how Brandi makes her money..maybe RHousewives is her meal ticket. We all know Eddie is now living off Leann, and she posted on Twitter that she is Brandi’s kids’ “Bonus Mom”, so maybe she’s paying child support, too?

    What a complete douche.
Not only did he put his kids in People, but think about all the supposedly candid shots of Leanne and his kids playing family before and during the divorce? Oh – maybe those should be discounted because they were paparazzi shots…..but does anyone believe that the paps didn’t get a ‘heads up’ call on where and when the newly built happy family would be?
Let the kids be with their mom and film the series. Sarcas is right – the Real Housewives franchise is as kid friendly as it can get.
Now I get why Sonja’s ex refused to let his kids film – he has a shitload of money and most likely fears allowing his daughters face out there lest a kidnapper gets any ideas. Eddie? Not so much. Clearly a power play to let ‘bonus mom’ get more control.

Speaking of which — any moms out there that would be happy if the homewrecking slut started calling herself your childrens bonus mom? I wouldn’t be.

Who is this/what does he do

I think he’s done more harm by screwing around with Leann and breaking up his marriage than a few hours on RHOBH could possibly do to them. And, although Adrienne allows her kids to be on the show you never see their faces. I believe that’s for kidnapping reasons too. She’s got more money than God. If she ever goes broke there’s something wrong in the universe.
