Ellen DeGeneres has officially left Idol! I thought this would never happen! She had 4 years left on her contract, but somehow they let her out. I wonder what her pay-out was? Fox declined a comment on her departure, but apparently she told them a few months ago that she didn’t think she was the right fit for the job, and you know what? She’s right! Now, the last judges standing are Randy, and Kara–the weakest of the bunch.

Who will they bring in???? Oh the suspense…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Nigel whathisfuck is coming back, and is said to be favoring a whole new slate of judges. I wonder if he can get rid of Mister Pitchy, Dawg and Kara. I think he’ll try. Those two really aren’t anything to build on. People have wanted Randy gone for years.

Gee, someone who doesn’t know much about the music business decides she’s not right for the job? Or did they decide for her? Those producers are idiots. (Maybe Nigel will be a producer again and fix it, besides being a judge.) I read somewhere that Randy has one more year on his contract and Kara was on a year-to-year.

Actually, I think that Kara was the strongest judge by far this year. Randy was terrible, as usual, Ellen didn’t really have a clue and Simon seemed to me to have checked out this year. I thought Kara actually made an effort to – for the most part – give constructive critiques and valuable advice and she doesn’t always just go along with the other judges. I didn’t like her at all last year, but she grew on me this year.

she grew on me too georgia. but, i still don’t love her. i think the judges panel was “that” bad for me to kind of like kara. i think they need a blank slate. i’m so bored with randy, they should really let his contract run out, or let him go early.

and zerocool–you got it right. Kara is year-to-year, and randy only has one year left.
