The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Entourage will end next summer. The head of HBO programming said, “The plan right now is we’ll finish up this season, we’ll do a shorter order for next season, we’ve talked about six…Creator Doug Ellin] is appropriately reserving — he wants to write a film, but wants to do it when the story will make sense. He’s pitched other shows to us. I will expect that within the next couple years [he'll have another show on HBO]. But ‘Entourage’ next summer will definitely be the final season.”

So basically I think because they didn’t announced the current season to be the last, they’ll HAVE to do another painful season, and then a movie. It’s amazing how much I use to LOVE watching Entourage, and now it’s the last thing on my DVR must-watch list. I think I only watch it because I’ve been following the series for so long, and I don’t want to bail on it just yet, but let’s face it, the show is a snooze-fest.

We get it already! How many different ways can they tell the same story? In a way, I compare it to Young and the Restless, and here’s why: I went home to my mom’s house last weekend, and of course she DVRs Y&R–so my Friday night consisted of watching three episodes with her, mind you I hadn’t seen the show in 10 years–but I literally caught up my lost decade within 30 minutes. Nothing had changed! Victor Newman was just a little more gray, and Sharon was still in that damn cabin!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.
