Evelyn Lozanda and Chad Ochocinco are getting a spinoff on VH1. Looks like Evelyn has managed to turn her 15-minutes into a huge franchise. I love that she threatened to leave Basketball Wives and got a spinoff out of it (I know that wasn’t the order or the reason, but funny how things work). As for BBW, they’re reporting that Evelyn will still appear on the show, but not as much.

The spinoff will be like every other marriage spinoff–they’ll follow Evelyn and Chad as they get ready for their wedding. Sounds like Evelyn has become the Bethenny for VH1–she landed a spinoff, she has a book/movie deal, and has a shoe store in Florida. Her empire is growing by the minute.  I wonder how all the other ladies feel about this?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Ugh and ugh. Insipid, obnoxious, unlikeable. I can’t believe anyone finds them interesting enough to watch. She comes off as desperate and he comes off as creepy. I’ve only seen parts of an episode or two (the fertility clinic, the luncheongate). Were they more charming and engaging in other episodes?

NOOO! As though their “relationship” weren’t painful enough to watch a few minutes at a time on BBW? They give the famewhore and the real whore their own show? What is Shaunie/Vh1 smoking?

Oh, crackalac!! Why is this ghetto trick going to be rewarded with another TV show? And bringing her famewhore baller on too. What, did she finally figure out that you cannot be a “fiancee” for 10 years? And didn’t “superhead” already write a book about what Evelyn knows how to do to get ballers? Why do we need another? I will just have to read the recaps… :)

@Plath, I think “Famewhore and The Real Whore” would be such an apt title, considering either Evelyn or Ocho could be either one.

@Derek, I didn’t even consider that. Yes, it would be the perfect title for their “reality” show.
