Evelyn Lozanda spoke out for the first time since Ocho’s arrest. She told ET, “It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday. I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.”

Here we go, I have a feeling Ev is going to try to milk this thing like Taylor Armstrong from Real Housewives if Beverly Hills. She’s probably going to go on a press tour, write a book, and start her own domestic violence group. I’m not trying to sound b*tchy about her speaking out…I don’t think domestic violence is OK AT ALL, I just hate it when reality stars try to use it as a way to up their cache and use it for fame. I hope Ev lays low and doesn’t go Taylor on us.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

What happened to all of this when Tami was berating Keisha? Or when she threw bottles at Kenya? Did she go get help for that? FOH…

“I would like to thank my family, my friends, my scriptwriter….”

Who is going to make a fortune with the book(s) and tour you mentioned, Nads.

Ugh. I hate domestic violence as the path to fame and riches.

So guess who filed for divorce? Damn Ev, gold-digging FAIL. She didn’t even last long enough to get anything out of being married to an NFL star..it hasn’t even been 6 weeks! Plus their show has been cancelled so there’s no money from that either.

And she is def going the Taylor Armstrong route. She’s already released a hospital photo of her with bandages and a black eye trying to drummer up all the sympathy she can muster. Chad is dun, dun, dun….done! One out of 3 women Chad met on the street would’ve gladly headbutted Evelyn for him. I do believe it was an accident but it doesn’t matter now..she’s (and the media) and gonna crucify him.

she’s going to speak out against violence? this is coming from the same woman who is SO quick to fight, throwing glasses and wine bottles at people and jumping across tables to fight!

She had absolutely nothing to do with the writing of her statement. This is coming from the female(damn sure not a woman) that terrorized Jenn all season. How many times has she ATTACKED people? I in no way condone domestic violence…but how much sympathy does she think she’s going to get?

Totally agree that she is trying to go the Taylor Armstrong route. I am from Cincinnati where Chad spent the bulk of his playing career and was very active in the community. He is a lot of things, but violent isn’t one of them. She on the other hand is a complete trainwreck of a famewhore who will use anything to get more famous. And it burns my ass that people like her make these false claims which only makes it harder for real victims to come forward.

This isn’t the first time that Chad has been arrested for domestic violence though. He was sentenced to parole and had to take mandatory anger management classes because of an altercation with a former girlfriend. So, we can’t say for sure that he has no violence in him.

Do I think Evelyn is a hypocrite? Hell yes. But, do I think Chad should be let off the hook because Evelyn is a horrible human being? Nope. Not at all.

    I think that’s what everyone’s problem is…..

I would like to hear from Chad on how ALL this bullshiggity started.
Did Evelyn throw a bottle and then put hands on him.
Did she get up in his face and scream that “he ain’t about this life”.
Did she hit him with her clutch?
Did she climb on a table to fly at him like a spider monkey and they ended up butting heads?

More than likely the fight started over the last piece of pizza…

Well, maybe Dr. Drew will start a domestic violence show, like he did with the drug and sex addicts, with all the VH1 ladies having stories about it now, possibly featuring Evelyn and Love and Hip Hop ATL’s K. Michelle?

@Derek – don’t forget Steebie J. Joselyn knocked him around too and after getting his beating the poor guy had to walk home.

@featherhead: I never got into the original L&HH, but L&HH Atlanta is such a juicy soap opera. I really do wish someone was recapping that show because it’s such trash, but completely addictive!

@Derek – they started a thread in the forums under reality shows. There are a few people there discussing it. I got sucked in when I taped it so that I didn’t miss the end of Mob Wives. And then I got sucked in. I haven’t missed an episode yet!

@ Classy – LOL!!! Yeah, they do need captions on that reject from the “Drag Show” – I cannot understand a word she says. Of course when she/it does the confessionals, all I can see is her fake fun bags and her gestures after every word. And fighting Mimi over Stevie? Ewwww, is that the best they got in Atlanta?

As for the dueling famehoes – Evelyn is trashy jump off that got hit by the karma train too – after watching her throw bottles, cuss and bully people, and jump off a table at someone, I got zero sympathy for that old trick. In other words, you not about this life, you trick ass heiffa!! :)

Ochocincodumbo is a dumbass and I don’t condone what he did. He has been riding on his willingness to whore himself on TV instead of learning a damn playbook and actually being a football player. Get your life, fool! :)
