Ex-Survivor producer, Bruce Beresford-Redman got extradited to Mexico to stand trial for allegedly killing his wife. If you don’t remember the story, here are the cliff notes: They took a trip to Mexico to try to repair their marriage, and she went missing. Anyway, he escaped to the U.S. after all was said and done, and is now being extradited back to Mexico. If he gets convicted he could face up to 30 years in Mexican jail. Which isn’t life, but I assume that 30 years in Mexican jail (if he gets the max sentence) could seem like life in prison in the U.S.

What a scum bag. I hope he gets convicted. His poor children.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I remember when this happened. She owned a bar right down the street from me and as soon as it happened they had posted a big banner, “justice for monica.” Very sad. This asshole definitely deserves some Mexican jail time!

Innocent until proven guilty. That’s why you used the word “allegedly”.

    Dear God.
How do you take your wife to “work on your marriage” and you kill her?!
Well he’ll get what he deserves…the Mexican penal system isn’t known to be gentle on white people.

“How do you take your wife to “work on your marriage” and you kill her?!”

Well, technically that’s one way to work out your marital problems.

Probably not so much for her, but still…

(Hey, at least I didn’t go for the easy “she got booted from the island” joke)

my understanding of the mexican prison system is that it recognizes that nearly all prisoners are eventually released into the general population and makes an effort to keep families together and retain for an excon a family structure to which they may return. different penal strokes for different penal folks. nevertheless, except for the wealthiest, hard time hurts. i guess if he killed his wife maybe my comment is moot.
