It doesn’t seem that long ago, but it has been. I used to love Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The crying, the building, the joy, the crying, the building, the crying and the crying. It became my secret affair. I would play it off as “killing time” before Desperate Housewives, but I secretly enjoyed it equally as Desperate Housewives. But let’s be serious here, 100 episodes of Ty yelling and crying some more?Gasmii, this Sunday, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will have it’s 100th episode. Truthfully, I haven’t seen the show in over a year. I started getting sick of it because the show became more about who had the stronger ailment, or whose son was more paralyzed. I couldn’t take it anymore, so I just stopped watching it all together.

My break-up with the show became as sudden and black and white as when Forrest Gump just didn’t feel like running anymore.

I can’t believe Ty is still on

It all of the sudden became background noise for me, but let’s face it, people are still watching the show and that’s why it’s still on. After all, According to Jim never stopped running and I thought no body watched it, but it still seems to creep into the schedule somehow. What I’ve learned from this holiday is to celebrate shows that have legs forever instead of celebrating their cancellation. So, here’s to you Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Happy 100th Episode. Check it out: Sunday, November 25 at 7/6c on ABC.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.
