desperate housewives

Desperate Housewives is sadly coming to an end in May 2012. ABC is supposed to make the official announcement at TCA this Sunday. I’m sad to see the show go, but I think it’s time it came to an end. It had a good run, but the story lines have been exhausted in my opinion.

I guess all good things must come to an end…

R.I.P.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I used to LURVE DH, but I agree. It’s pretty much exhausted all interesting story lines. Now maybe they can have a HUGE disaster ending that will awesome.
Hypno will be crying in his beer though. :P

I’ll be pouring one for my homie, Betty Applewhite, that’s for damn sure.

Since season 5, the show has gone downhill. There are great moments, but they are few and far between, and the writing has gotten really lazy. It’s not even half as dark and suspenseful as it used to be.

Still, it’s sad. An end to an era.

Those mofos at ABC BETTER do a special to air beforehand. And that special BETTER include Betty effing Applewhite.

I figured this was coming. I used to love this show, but it hasn’t been good since Season 4 and even that season wasn’t one of my favorites. Sigh. I think it may be time to break out the Season 1 dvds and relive this show in its glory for the 1000th time.

Agreed, Hypno. I want my Betty Applewhite.

And if the last season could bring back the awesomeness of the first season, that would be great. I was more upset about no longer being able to read the hilarious posts written here, on the DH fb wall, and all over the internet than I was about the show itself ending.

And please make Renee better this season. Go out with a bang. Not a whimper!
