As you can see, Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) did NOT wear a dress to the 2010 Tony Awards. His lovely wife Carmille, however, did. She was stunningly beautiful & was wearing lots of diamonds too. She wasn’t my “best dressed” pick for the evening though.

These were my three favorites for the night. Laura Bell Bundy has to be my #1 pick. Her silver & gold striped gown are perfect with her hair & make-up. Scarlett Johansson’s dark green embroidered dress & 60′s updo are also winners. Idina Menzel’s embroidered strapless gown is also beautiful. These ladies know how to do it right.

These are three more classy gowns. Paula Abdul has continued to wow us at every occasion & last night was no different. “Glee” girl Lea Michele is another one who gets it right even in a bold Tweety Bird yellow. Lucy Liu, wrapped in pale pink tulle, hit the mark too.

Black still looks good. Fraiser’s other wife, Bebe Neuwirth accented her gown with a red purse. Helen Mirren never looks bad & last night was no different. Michelle Williams kept it simple with her one-sleeved gown.

Lots of stunningly beautiful pairs…. Will Smith & wife Jada Pinkett Jones, Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber & Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The elderly showed up in brilliant colors. I’m with ya sisters! Show ‘em how to get noticed! Angela Lansbury, Valerie Harper & Lillias White were able to look great & keep their flabby underarm fat covered.

IMO… the worst of the evening. Cate Blanchett looks like an alien from space in her shiny silver pantsuit. She’s too skinny to wear something like that. Linda Lavin is just a total mess. I don’t understand the underlining of the gown & how it sticks out in all the wrong places. Bernadette Peters thinks she’s the Oscar statue.

After being harassed by critics who thought he shouldn’t play a straight man in a play, Sean Hayes was host for the evening. When his co-host in “Promises, Promises”, Kristin Chenowith, joined him on-stage, Sean kissed her passionately. He then looked out at the audience: “I know what you’re thinking…. she’s too short for me.”

I give Sean Hayes “Best Dressed Male” for the evening. He managed to give us quite the package! What do you think?
