jerry sandusky interview

NBC pulled a last minute interview with former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky and he claims he’s innocent. He said, “I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids I have showered with after workouts. I have hugged them, and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact…I shouldn’t have showered with those kids. I enjoy being around children. I enjoy their enthusiasm. I just have a good time with them.”

This is insane! What about all the allegations? Let’s just say he didn’t sexually abuse these kids, he certainly should not have showered with them, pulled them out of school, or touched their legs. Denial, denial, denial…he makes me sick. I’m an ass if I’m wrong, but all signs point to him being guilty.

Here’s the interview:

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I watched the interview this morning. Kudos to Bob Costas for not lobbing light balls. This man is guilty guilty guilty and this interview was simply a way to set up his defense…”I did some questionable things, but my intent was not impure.” Costas couldn’t have looked less convinced. Sandusky is disgusting, and the whole football first culture (and I am a football fan) should be ashamed of themselves.

Joe Amendola who is representing Sandusky, the ex-Penn State defensive coordinator, reportedly impregnated a teen girl (16) more than 30 years younger than him. He was representing her in her emancipation case.

The Daily reported that Amendola, 63, was at least 48 when he impregnated the girl, Mary Iavasile, in 1996.

By the way, if anyone from Pennsylvania invites you to some ‘horse-play’ or asks if you would like to ‘horse-around, walk away.

He brings delusional to a new level. How can you actually think it’s acceptable behavior to shower and ‘horse around’ naked with children as a grown-ass man? I don’t care what your intentions were – it is wrong how ever you cut it.

MCQUEARY WITNESSED!! Even though showering with them is just as bad, McQueary witnessed him performing oral sex on a young boy (It hurts to type that and I hate it so much!) so its obvious he’s lying! And what was the point of this interview? I mean really. What did he think he’d gain from this. Throw him UNDER the jail!

I’m a football fan (a huge sports fan) but I’m so tired of coaches, athletes, etc. getting away with things bc they play pro sports. It makes me sick.

Showering with a stranger can be considered questionable behavior. Showering with a child is stupid and sick.

His interview had shades of the Bashir interview with Michael Jackson the whole “sharing your bed is beautiful”.

Bed sharing or horseplay is just word spin that sexual predators have perfected. These people are as shrewd and cunning as they come. Karma’s a bitch Jerry – look at what happened to Michael. Maybe you and Mikey can share a shower in hell!

It’s actually Jerry Sandusky, but it doesn’t even matter. I’m actually from State College, PA – grew up there. Our whole town is sickened.

hbgchick, I can’t even imagine what that must be like. I guess it would be like being from Tallahassee and hearing that Mickey Andrews had been doing that sick stuff and a grad assistant went and told Bobby Bowden and no one called the cops.

Sandusky’s reaction is typical of most guys accused of this stuff. They always deny it- whether they actually think they did nothing wrong or they just figure no one would ever believe their accusers, I just don’t know. Sandusky was so sick, he picked the boys that he thought wouldn’t tell or if they did, no one would believe them.

Actually KB, McQueary witnessed him raping a young boy. A custodian witnessed him performing oral sex. But hey, they are all liars, right?

Not alot of people like Bob Costas but he did a superb job as an interviewer. Straight to the point with hard hitting questions.

Some were upset that NBC did this interview but I’m glad they did. Though I d agree that there should have been a warning when the alleged acts were being discussed.

yes! Bob did an amazing job interviewing. He went for it, and didn’t hold back–and I loved it. People should take note from him and learn to not tip toe around topics.

When the interview was replayed on morning TV, there was a warning. When it was on at 10pm, on a cable news station, I have to question who was complaining and why. If it was because small impressionable ears were listening, then maybe they should worry less about TV censoring and more about putting their kids to bed.
