George Lopez Apologizes, And Kirstie Alley Doesn’t Accept

As you may or may not have read, George Lopez made a bad joke comparing Kirstie Alley to a pig, and it did not go over too well.

So, the latest is that George has apologized saying he “misjudged” the joke, and invited Kirstie to his show. And, what did Kirstie do? She basically told him to f*ck off.

She tweeted:

Good for Kirstie!! George is an ass, and I’m happy she pushed back. Her weight has clearly been an issue, and the fact that George went there is ridiculous. It’s like really??? You made a fat joke, George? Go HOME!!

Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    I Love KIrstie! I have a problem with my weight too i like her exercise and diet to no results! Altho she has lost 60 pounds! So Yes im proud of her! And Yes george is a huge ass!

    My keyboard at home sucks too, Rebecca! I thought that was a pretty sharp comment-very concise, the kidney one, and I think GL is a douche and not funny . . . I saw an interview or something, gross!

    I can never respect Kirstie Alley for using her weight as an excuse to become an obnoxious fame whore for the past 10 years. So even though I may not like George Lopez either, Kirstie Alley gets a big ol’ middle finger from me as far as this is concerned.

    Lopez is some sort of anti-fat binge (if you’ll pardon the word usage.) The day after ripping into Alley for her weight problems, he slammed Shaquille O’Neill and Kim Kardashian about their size, as well.

    Of course, there isn’t much left for comics to pick on but fat folks. Nearly everything else is protected speech these days.

    But he accomplished what he needed. Think about it. When has he ever been headline news. Suddenly he’s almost relevant.

    Ok, I’m a fat chick so it is a sensitive subject. But, if the shoe had been on the other hoof and she (or someone else) had made a derogatory Hispanic remark towards him they’d be in a WHOLE lot of deep shit. Can’t offend an entire race. But since it’s a just a fat person it’s OK. I’m glad she told him to F-off. It’s not OK to call someone a ‘Spic and it’s not OK to call someone a fat ass and show pictures of pigs. Now Dumb Ass, that comes in all shapes, sizes and nationalities!
