The Globes were pretty entertaining this year. Nothing major to report. Ricky Gervais only managed to take one jab at NBC–I think he played it too safe, but I’m sure he wants to get asked back next year…
My one LOL moment was when he made his Mel Gibson joke. In case you missed it, he said, “It’s not my fault. I like a drink as much as the next man…Unless the next man is Mel Gibson.” I know what you’re thinking Gasmii, Mel Gibson jokes are old and hacky, but Ricky’s delivery was pretty brilliant.
