Gwyneth-Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow is making a comeback in a major way. First Glee, and now she’s going to be hosting SNL for the third time on January 15. I’m starting to like her a lot more these days. I never really hated her, but she certainly used to get under my skin–and for no real reason, other than she just bugged me. Anyway, she’s on the Nads redemption tour, and I’m sure she cares, ha!

Onward…I don’t know if you had a chance to watch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, but she was on and was hilarious.

Here’s Jimmy and Gwyneth reunited for Shazaaz:

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I know what you mean. I used to really really like her, but then she got a touch of the “Europea” accent, GOOP, and her stupid shiny legs and I just wished she would shut up. She’s getting better though. She seemed less obnoxious when she was on Conan a few weeks ago and going on the Today Show admitting she was hung over also helped.

I still hate her. I heard an interview years ago where she sounded so snotty and entitled. Talked about her gowns in all her many homes and she didn’t even know where they all were. Meh, go back to England, twat.

I don’t love her, I don’t hate her. I just find her bland. An average looking blonde..cookie cutter good looks, not worthy of a second glance. Flat, limp hair, no sexy curves, just lacking in overall sex appeal. Blah. I’m bored just writing about it.

I think she doesn’t have much talent at ALL. I mean, I try to avoid her movies at ALL costs. I despised Iron Man just because she was in it. She is so selfish and entitled that it makes me puke.

I like when Kathy Griffin made fun of her in her Allegedly DVD. That was hysterical.

I receive her GOOP e-mails for the amusement factor. She doesn’t realize how unintentionally funny she is. That being said, I wouldn’t mind being Gwynnie.

I like Gwyneth. Especially now that she’s letting Project Runway dress her.

Don’t be fooled. She is no more one-of-us than Madonna or any of the other trollers. It’s all an act. It’s calculated and soulless. As soon as she’s done with this movie and the press and appearances, it’ll be back to the stuck-up, self-important, haughty Gwyneth that most of us have come to hold in contempt. There are two other cases like this that I recall seeing right through: Jane Fonda’s last incarnation of Common Woman, and Cher’s back-and-forth pretending every time she needs to sell something. Cher quite not as much.. she just can’t hack the pretend game. Jane gave it the old college try as I recall but no one was fooled. After her last failure to reinvent herself she went right back to telling everyone else how to live and making dumb pronouncements. Here’s a future prediction — think of me when it happens — Sheryl Crow will try and pull the same thing. Mark my words.
