I hope you all have a restful, and relaxing holiday! I’ll be back on Monday.

Now, I’m off to do some last minute shopping…don’t ask. :-)

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Let me tell ya my little holiday story. I got my hair cut and colored this week (I have long hair, so coloring/foiling is a three hour process.) I gave my stylist free rein, and she decided to do most of the hair a dark mahogony, with a deep bark blue stripe underneath on each side, so when my hair is up you can see the extra color. It looked marvelous…until I showered today.

Something went horribly wrong, and the dye didn’t take. I glanced at the floor of the shower, and it looked for all the world like I’d slaughtered a Smurf. And now? Two pale blue stripes, like I got hit by lightning instead of expensively styled.

And I have to go to a wedding like this, because there’s no time to fix it before hand.

In ten years this might be funny. Right now…not so much.

    Merry Christmas.

Aw, Cattyfan, how awful! Wear a hat? My last dye job was a bust, too–it sort of came out more purplish than the mahogany it was meant to be.

Happy Christmas to you, too, Nads and all the staff and Gasmii.

Oooh! I love the idea of the initial color, Cattyfan! That’s kinda awesome. Not so awesome that it didn’t take. Hope you’re not suffering too badly with it now!

    Merry happy holidays Christmas, everyone!!!

I’m styling it with the “mistake” not showing much. If this is the worst thing that happens, it will still be a good Christmas. I’ll just look a little silly in the pictures!
