heidi spencer wedding

Did you guys watch The Hills last night? WTF was that? Heidi was wasted, and it looked like Spencer manipulated her into marrying him. The worst part about it was the look of remorse Heidi had on her face the day after the wedding in their hotel room, and Spencer said, “Are you going to tell your mom?” Duh Spencer…didn’t already call the tabloids to announce your wedding?

I understand The Hills is an overly produced reality show, but do you think that Heidi knew what she was getting into before going to Cabo? Spencer did say it was his plan all along to try to marry her down there. And, Heidi said “yes” that night when she was wasted, and then they cut to two days after. So she actually married him sober, and had time to think about it??? Spencer is dead to me after seeing the episode last night, it was like he engaged-raped Heidi. And, how could Heidi kiss him with his gross beard? He looked like a hezbollah disguised as an American.

It all makes me want to throw up in my mouth.

Heidi may have had top shelf tequila to help her say yes, but her wedding was on a drink special budget. I feel sorry for Heidi, but then again, she’s the brainwashed idiot that’s stuck by Spencer’s side. Hopefully she’ll wake up one day.

I’m talking to Stephanie Pratt later today regarding this episode, keep you posted.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Um, you realize it’s all fake right? And that California doesn’t recognize marriages that take place outside of the country? Spare us your phony outrage at this phony reality.

RugDoc, geez, someone snappy today. do you watch the hills? it IS overly produced, i did say that…but a lot is based on reality and then produced. i know that for a fact, i have friends that have worked on the show, and know people on the show.

also, they do officially get married when they come to back to california. it’s teased for the finale next week. if you don’t watch the show, please bring your negativity here.

it’s just a damn reality show, and i’m entitled to not liking “characters” on the show.

and you do realize that this is a television website, don’t you?

Lol, I’m assuming you mean don’t bring your negativity here, but ok, didn’t think I’d be striking a nerve like that. I’ll believe they get “officially” married when I see it.

I’m not sure where you got this information from, but a) California recognizes marriages that take place in other countries and b) it would be unconstitutional for it to do otherwise. Recognition of government actions in foreign countries is a foreign policy issue, and thus the province of the federal government.

Think about it. You’re saying it’s impossible for Americans to get married in Mexico or the Caribbean.

Actually, both RugDoctor and Alafloss are right – foreign marraiges are recognized in the US and Speidi’s marriage is fake. Specifically, the US does recognize marriages that are performed in Mexico IF the marriage is legal in Mexico. In order for a marriage to be legal under Mexican law, the couple must perform a separate civil ceremony that is registered with the Mexican national civil registry – it’s a requirement that was created after the Mexican revolution in an effort to establish separation of church and state. Unfortunately for Speidi, they did not meet this requirement and the marriage is not legal under Mexican law.

However, as Nads indicated, Speidi appeared to be making the marriage legal in next week’s episode by having a civil ceremony before a Judge in CA – but this seems to be a hoax too as a story was leeked today indicating the whole thing was staged for the show. I can’t post a link, but the story was reported on the Huffington Post and was on MSN earlier today.

In other words – There may still be hope for Heidi yet b/c Speidi’s marriage is fake.

“Um, you realize it’s all fake right? …Spare us your phony outrage at this phony reality.”

    too funny!!

    But Nads, your response —

“and you do realize that this is a television website, don’t you?”

    is even funnier!

    FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!!

Of all the so-called “reality” shows out there in TV land, this one HAS to be the most contrived and 100% scripted, so yeah, I could give a fuck either way about these vacuous pseudo-celebs.
