Honey Boo Boo brought in HUGE numbers for her premiere! She brought in OVER 2.2 million viewers! How crazy is that? She nabbed the number one spot in all of cable. It’s so crazy because everyone seems to be in an outrage over the show, yet they can’t stop watching. I know it’s garbage, and I’m a HUGE contribution to the downfall of society for supporting the show, but honestly…it’s like crack to me. I feel bad for watching the trainwreck, but I just can’t keep my eyes off of her…that little girl is NUTS!

Here’s the Honey Boo Boo!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Alice I swear the intro fart was the best, I don’t know why(have the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy) but it was golden. Add me to the list of viewers, that show was freaking redneckieawesomeness. The HBBclan made something as disgusting as pig feet funny…how is that even possible? Oh and June talking about the fatties she said EVERYTHING we all want to say to them(I’mma chubster myself)…cover that shyt up!

I haven’t watched the show, but The Soup did a segment on it that had us crying it was so hysterical.

I YEARN to know how pissed off Eden Wood’s momma is about Honey Boo Boo stealing Eden’s thunder. And Team Honey Boo Boo doesn’t even give a shit about “keeping it professional.”

In the last year,my Mom has been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer and has moved in with my husband and I. We have two teenagers. You have NO idea what it means to me to turn on a “Toddlers and Tiaras” episode and read your commentary along with it these last months. I laugh so hard, and boy do I need it! Mom and I watched “Honey Boo Boo” together along with my kids. I had seen the “T&T” episode with Alana and really loved her. She’s a kid who’s comfortable in her own skin and endearlingly determined. I love her can-do attitude. So, Mom and I, both college-educated, watched it together. We could’ve done without the swearing and at least a couple of gas jokes, but overall I saw a family who really loves each other. I will definitely be watching next week! They seem frugal, so I’m hoping they are wise with this unexpected financial windfall. I have to agree with crankyguy. One of the first thoughts I had when I heard HBB got her own show was that somewhere Micki Wood was throwing a screaming fit!

@Cranky, Team HBB doesn’t know the meaning of the word professional, much less anything about keeping it! :)

Anyone think any of this money will be going into a college fund? Bueller?

    @caligal
Probably not a college fund, but they’ll likely upgrade to a nice, double-wide. And get shoes for all the kids. No more having to share one pair.

They should probably save some of the money for dentures, though.

I do feel bad for Sugar Bear – what the hell does he do for a living that he’s gone 7 days a week? I’d get some of those kids working…

June was hilarious that she couldn’t say “Jabba the Hut” correctly when she was talking about what people compare her to…oh, June, how do you not know Jabba? Tsk, tsk.

    Ask and you shall receive:

Honey Boo Boo’s baby-daddy Mike Thompson seems to have managed the art of sleeping sitting up while maintaining his sanity among all the other women in his household. So how does “Sugar Bear” bring home the bacon for beautimous Mama June and the rest of the family? Let’s investigate and properly redneckognize our leading man!

In the premiere episode June casually mentions that Mike works 7 days a week as he loads up into his truck. So where does Mike work? According to his Facebook page, the hardest working man in Middle Georgia show business works for Snowco General Contractors.

“I work for snowco general contractors in mcintrye for almost 8 yrs I work in the chalk mines and love it”

Here’s Snowco’s pitch via their official website:

Snowco General Contractors, Inc. was established in early 2000. Snowco has been one of the fastest-growing companies in the Middle Georgia area. The business is located in McIntyre, right in the heart of Middle Georgia.
Snowco has the experience, manpower, and equipment needed to make your next project a success. There are no projects to big or too small for Snowco. Snowco meets or exceeds all of the necessary insurance requirements needed to perform work. We offer services to commercial, industrial, and residential clients throughout the Middle Georgia area. All of our employees are MSHA certified and attend Snowco regularly scheduled safety meetings.
The mission of Snowco General Contractors Inc., is to provide services to our customers that are competitively priced and that consistently exceed their expectations.
Give Snowco a call before you start your next project and let us work with you to make it a success.
According to the official website for Wilkinson County, GA, kaolin mining is the chief industry of the region:

Kaolin mining and processing is the principal industry in Wilkinson County. The valuable white clay is used in many manufacturing products including paper, paint, rubber, make-up and medicines.
Those train tracks you see running almost through his living room make their way through the region primarily for that “white gold.”
