Honey Boo Boo has crossed the Atlantic and is a hit in Eastern Europe–how David Hasselhoff of her! The EVP and chief of content for Discovery told the Post, “In Poland, where it just started airing, it’s already No. 3 in terms of viewers.” That’s pretty amazing…And we wonder why Europeans look down on us and think we’re dumb. Ha.

I guess her success is carrying over to other countries and she’ll soon be seen in Italy, the Netherlands, Australia, and Latin America. God, could you imagine a hot-headed Latina Alana? Amazing, right??? I’d love to hear her ask for more Ándale Juice!!!

I wonder if they’ll go old school with their dubbing and use only one voice actor for the whole show? I’d love to hear the man/woman who has the ability to do Uncle Poodle and Alana in the same scene. Now, that’s talent!

Side note: Funny part is, Honey Boo Boo has gone international and I bet Alana isn’t even a passport holder. LOVE IT! She’s multi-lingual, son!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    What….The….EFF?!?!

I couldn’t get through the whole season, but hey, you know they are making money so good for Momma June! I also hear that she is putting money away for the girls. Smart woman, wonder if any of the other TLC wackodoodles do that? Well I would hope that the Duggars do that, being that the younger kids make that show……

Well, we got their version of trailer trash ala the MBFGW, I guess they can have our trailer trash.

I’m sorry I tried to watch them but they’re gross. I don’t find them charming. They do love each other but that’s it. They’re pigs. I was a little girl once upon a time but I had manners and the adults in my life didn’t laugh when I did inappropriate things. They corrected me. June doesn’t say No to her family. She laughs.
She said Alana can eat 3 cans of cranberry sauce by herself . What mother would let their child eat 3 cans of cranberry sauce? No fucking wonder they can’t get the kid’s pageant dresses closed.

I hope foreigners see that family for what they are: gross and mannerless. Not typical Americans.

It has started in Australia. I am so pleased because I have been reading the recaps and I couldn’t comment.

Loved her on Toddlers and Tiaras.

They are a typical American family aren’t they ?

It’s not been picked up by a British channel yet but Honey Boo Boo went viral and students with not much else to do (like myself) watched the series online. I am unashamed, I spend way too much time pretending to be intellectual, I need a bit of (a lot of ) trash telly

TLC’s already shown some episodes here in The Netherlands. Sometimes I watch, most of the time I’m having me dinner…

We’re smart we are… we don’t do voice dubs. We have subtitles, so we can redicule the lazy ass translators and subtitlers who do not graps the American language.

I understand Thisbuggs4u, there are some shows where my jaw drops and then others I happily engage in.

I love this! I fell in love with this family when I started recapping the show. I really wish I could have recapped the Holiday Specials, but there just wasn’t enough time.

@Bluedog, they are not “typical” because they are much more supportive and loving than most American families, and tend to do much more for charity in the off season than other American families.

I was really sad to hear that Uncle Poodle was diagnosed with HIV, so knowing that the show is going to be an international success makes me glad that they will be able to do even more to support him when it comes to helping him take care of himself.

PlathAddict…… one thing I did notice on T&T was how supportive they were to Alana at the pageants and how excited the whole family was when she won, even if it was a minor prize. A definate contrast to the mums who were pissed off if their little \pageant princess\ only won queen or mini supreme. Alana also applauds for the other kids when they win as well in contrast to kids who have a screaming fit if they don’t get grand supreme. That kind of behaviour only comes from good parenting. I don’t mind the farting etc. because I am sure mumma June doesn’t let them do that in public. Most mothers here are relaxed at home as long as the kids know what the correct behaviour is when they go out.

I hope the show will help with Uncle Poodle. The money might help with treatment and just little things like him giving the kids a hug would show that HIV is not something to be scared of.

Does anyone know when the \Redneck Games are on\ ? I would love to see them. Also, at the risk of sounding like an international stalker if I went to their town do you think I would catch a glimpse of them. I’ll bring Alana a (stuffed) kangaroo.

LOL my code is gift horse.

If I want to see a redneck family with good values who love each other I’ll watch Duck Dynasty.
Now, I wouldn’t mind if the world thought they were a typical American family.

I could barely make out what Honey boo boo and her family were saying and I live in Georgia. So I can’t imagine some translators would be able to make out the words.

I was on a Full House episode when I was little and my friend found a German version of it on YouTube recently. Amazing, I didn’t know I could speak German, but there was my six year old self chattering away to Mr. Tanner in it lol.

I also hope the guy who intentionally gave HIV to Uncle Poodle rots in jail for it.
