Howard Stern told Access Hollywood that he wants Sharon Osbourne to grovel to the NBC boss for her job back. He said, “I’m more than sad. I think that there’s a great dynamic between Sharon, Howie [Mandel] and myself. I think we’ve been doing a good job judging. I enjoy working with Sharon, I’ve known her for years. I hope some sort of miracle can happen. Maybe she’s got to walk into [NBC top boss] Bob Greenblatt’s office and get down on her knees and beg him. I don’t know what’s going on I’m, I’m not privy to it, but I hope that she does return and maybe has a change of heart.”

I don’t know why he wants her to beg for her job back, wasn’t it Sharon that quit because of Jack, not the other way around? I really do hope Sharon comes back, I like her on the panel. If Howard feels so strongly about the subject, he should walk into Bob Greenblatt’s office and tell him that he won’t do the show without Sharon. That’ll get her back on…hopefully.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Agree. Howie needs to be the mid-man as Sharon will not drop to her knees.

Totally agree. Howard can turn this around…maybe Howie and Nick will tag along as well. I love this quartet.

I’m sorry, but all this talk of Sharon Osbourne on her knees has taken me to a very disturbing place, especially since it’s National Head Day. Thanks a lot, guys.

STICKING up for a friend shouldn’t mean asking them to go down on their knees..That’s not who Sharon is.

I was excited about the headline but kind of disgusted that he thinks Sharon should beg for her job back.
She’s the one who left NBC and she did it because they were mean to her baby. Her baby who was just diagnosed with a scary disease.
If anything, he should be telling NBC to cut the crap, apologize to Sharon and offer her back her spot.

I’m definitely not too proud to beg and have found that sometimes, intense begging supplemented by a liberal application of tears and (in extreme circumstances) a hint of snot has done wonders for certain situations. But in this case, Sharon shouldn’t be begging and Howard is a dumby for suggesting that.

@Chaos, agree about the tears. They’ve saved me from a coupla traffic oopses. But in the case of Sharon, as you noted, the oops wasn’t hers and she shouldn’t be the one on her knees.

Which brings me to that nine-year-old boy in my brain with the maniacal giggle at the scenario. Bad Snowshoe, bad, bad. You too SuperB!!!! *maniacal giggle*

Ahem. You two guys go to bat for Sharon, will ya? I mean if you want her back.

I am the only one who wonders if Howard is suggesting that Sharon wasn’t asked back and is using Jacks dismissal as a way to save face? I don’t see Howard being a person who would suggest some one beg on their hands and knees to NBC unless there is something we don’t know? Just a crazy guess….
