Word on the street is that Howard Stern may sign a 3-year/$600 million deal with Apple to host his radio show on iTunes. I know it’s just a rumor, but that would be absolutely insane if it were true. How the hell would he swing that? Especially for people that listen to Howard in their cars?

His current contract with Sirius expires at the end of this year, with his last show being December 17th…But if Howard moves, what will happen to all the Sirius subscribers that came aboard just for him? I know some people don’t love Howard, in fact, they hate him…but I still find him entertaining every morning on my commute. Other than Howard I don’t NEED Satellite radio (since I’m not on anymore either. ha)

Anyone a Howard fan that subscribed just for him? Will you jump ship if he does?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Been a Howard fan for 13 years and am freaking out that he may leave Sirius. I made the switch when he left and don’t know what I’ll do with myself without him. Yes, I know that makes me super co-dependent on a radio show which = super lame but if he goes to Apple, I’ll follow him there too. Hope he stays with Siruis but as long as he’s doing his show somewhere, I’ll survive. Well, I’ll survive as long as I have his show and chocolate chip cookies.

Ha. me too. You should have seen me when they were going to reveal the results of the IQ test. I was sitting in my car outside the office and refused to get out of the car so I could hear the results. Meanwhile I was 35 minutes late to work, and got in so much trouble…but I HAD to hear the results. I was DYING.

I LOVE HOWARD. Love love love. I love him now more than ever, and what the show has evolved into. I’ll manage to somehow follow him (iTunes for cars?) – who knows what will happen. I will be devastated without him and I know that’s the lamest thing I’ve ever written. DON’T LEAVE ME HOWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!

46-year-old FEMALE. LOVE this show. Don’t think Howard is the best part of the show, but the “family” on the show is amazing. I miss Artie like a brother. I don’t know if I’ll keep my (3) subscriptions if he leaves. NOBODY else got David Arquette TWICE!! — BTW I’m a woman, and he said NOTHING wrong or disrespectful. I gauge how cool I think a celebrity is by whether or not they appear on his show – Al Roker rocks! DON’T GO!
