Hugh

I just totally ghetto’d my tittle and didn’t even mean too, but that’s the only way to describe Hugh’s new salary, “mad cash”. He’s now one of the highest paid TV actors. Hugh’s getting $400,000 an episode for his series House on Fox (that means $9 million/year). He’s now signed on through the 2010-2011 season and will also be getting a producing credit. Now, all I have to do is start watching House to see what the fuss is about. I have all the DVDs, but have no interest, although I hear it’s good.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

It is good Nads. I admit, I have only seen a couple of the episodes, but it’s because I am generally too busy to watch it, not because it’s bad or anything.

Hugh Laurie is fantastic and I really enjoy Robert Sean Leonard – mostly because I remember him from Dead Poets’ Society, one of my all-time favorite movies.

It’s kind of like CSI meets ER.

Thanks georgiababe for the tip. I know, I’m always too busy to watch. I have so many other shows that take priority to House that I never get around to it. But as you say CSI meets ER, that’s a no-brainer for viewers. Look at how many crime/law shows and hospital shows are on-air and stay on forever! It’s not a bad thing, but I couldn’t believe how long House has been on and didn’t even notice.

I think Hugh is such a hunk though.

    Have a good weekend!

If you’ve been following Hugh’s career, you’ll know that he believes all this success = his show turning to shit.

The show’s already on the way. Ambah died and this season? we have to hear Greg’s slow soliloquy, Bob’s bow-out

and what happened to All The Rest?

oh did I drift off? sorry.

I began watching House in season three. I have heard one and two were the best but it has not been so bad that I would ever give up watching. I am interested in how they will come back this season and make it snarky and full of humor.
Maybe having a producer credit will give him a voice in the direction the story line takes.

Take the DVD’s and watch them. You may find you can’t stop so have a long weekend free.
