Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Would NBCU be able to make that choice all on there own? FOX is an equal partner and ABC also has a seat at the table now- wouldn’t everyone have to agree?
Word, Kesila. I mean, pretty much every show on Hulu (at least the current ones) are on the network sites themselves. If Hulu starts to charge, I’ll just watch the shows on the network sites.
Comcast sucks.
true dat…but i know that comcast is pushing hard for this thing…unless they buy out fox, and abc. i’m not sure how their partnership works. initially it was a fox and nbc thing…then abc came on (right? i could be wrong on this…someone correct me).
all around, it’s a bad idea. hulu should be free…and if they start charging, people will find a way to get it for free anyway. they’re dumb, and they’re going to lose on their ad dollar they have coming in now.
look like Fox would be on board,
From News Corp.
“I think a free model is a very difficult way to capture the value of our content. I think what we need to do is deliver that content to consumers in a way where they will appreciate the value…Hulu concurs with that, it needs to evolve to have a meaningful subscription model as part of its business.”
It was originally a venture between FOX and NBC. ABC recently came to the table and brought shows and money so they could have a seat. It doesn’t matter how much comcast would WANT to do this- they certainly can’t do it without everyone else signing on. This is not the first time I have heard rumblings of Hulu for pay and I am sure it will not be the last.
I TOTALLY agree that the amount of people who would pay for the site would be small-especially with network sites, fancast and cable sites offering up for free. Not to mention with sling boxes, dvr’s galore.
People already pay for shows on Itunes and Netflix- realistically how many more places are they going to being will to pay? Lets be honest- 98% of the time the web is supposed to be about one word and one word only- FREE. Right?
It’s sort of infuriating that networks (Fox in this case) would want to charge people to watch online when you can watch for free on TV (after buying a new TV or one of the new HD signal thingies). I don’t have cable either, but I prefer watching online because the HD signals are pathetic at best if you don’t subscribe to a service.
From Nads’ Fox quote: “I think what we need to do is deliver that content to consumers in a way where they will appreciate the value.” Um, you know what value I appreciate, Fox? FREE, ya bastards!
