My Idol dreams came true last night, Paul McDonald got the boot. I’ve got to say, he had some real fancy outfits, some good moves, and some BIG teeth, but he just didn’t cut it for me, or America. I was sad to see him go over Stefano, Jacob because he was awkwardly entertaining to watch…but it’s only a matter of time.

Lets move on to something a little more positive…

My favorite part of the night was the Casey and Haley duet! Man, can those two scat!!! It was amazing.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    aww crapper, I would have enjoyed santino going home, he’s like turdle (jamie-top chef) of AI. I also would have rather had Jacob-I need to scrap my tongue-Lusky go home. LIke you said it is only a matter of time, but I liked Paul over those 2 yahoos.

    Oh, and another thing: they insisted on pairing up Scotty McCreepy and Lauren again. But now I know why: it was to show how completely outclassed by her he is. It’s like a frog croaking next to a nightingale. Sure, she’s still kind of bland and borinng, but she’s got a great voice. Here’s hoping the Tween Legions take her under their wing and get rid of that smarmy little bastard.

    I’m sad Pual’s gone, but it was inevitable, so I’m not surprised. Jacob and Stefano should definitely have gone home before him, but they’ll be gone soon too. I just know I would have been SO pissed if Haley got sent home after that performance. It was awe-inspiring. I still love my Scotty, but she might sneak up and steal the whole show! And FINALLY, Casey reminds me why I used to like him. That earned him his save by miles. They murdered that song and left no evidence for CSI. Well done, you two!

    I like Lauren and Scotty together. They’re so young and cute and country! They should do “Islands In The Stream” next. Or that Aaron Neville/Linda Rondstat I-Don’t-Know-Much song. Or get married. Whatever.

    I’m a HUGE Kelly Clarkson fan and I liked the song (Anyone else think Scotty would have been better than the dude she sang with?!) but duet-wise, the pros were outsang by the newbies last night.

    I like Stefano’s song choices and Jacob’s voice more than I like either of those for Paul. When I listen to Jacob without looking at his faces, I love his voice. My mother and aunt hope he sings Luther-type songs. Stefano’s voice isn’t as good as, say, Lauren’s, but I would listen to the music he would put out (Smokie Norful type or Boyz II Men type).

    I wasn’t sad to see Paul go, and I like him as a performer. This just wasn’t a good venue for someone like him, he got all he could out of it and he gets to bow out on a high note for him.

    The longer Jacob and Durbin last the more they’re going to sink into the mire of their own nonsensical egos and Stefano is that enigma I can’t figure out because why is he still there?

    And while I mock her for being the “drunk chick at karaoke” I’m glad Haley got to stay. I have no interest in anything she’d release, but that’s true of all of them, so she’s not losing anything from me. She just seems like someone who’s not getting caught up in the BS of the show.
