Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I don’t care about that right now. Just do the recaps.
Nads, a few thoughts on the first two nights:
After 6 seasons, I’m over watching the attention whores (annoying) and the delusional and mentally challenged(sad)audition and watching Simon have the same look on his face as his soul gets crushed a little more having to listen to each of these losers.
I would like to see more of the people who are actually good enough to make it to Hollywood so I actually have some people to root for and actually care who makes it out of the Hollywood round. The real drama also comes with the people who audition and don’t suck, but the judges aren’t quite sure if they’re good enough to move on.
That being said, I did LMAO with the “Moses Go Down to Egypt Land” guy, and the pimp “We’re all Brothers” guy. I loved how Simon basically said we may have discovered the next William Hung.
The stalker guy was pretty funny too.
I think the idol producers, desperate for real talent on the show, had someone raid Carrie Underwood’s dressing room and get DNA sample off her hairbrush, so they could go about cloning a dozen blonde, attractive, country singers.
Yeah, it’s funny b/c I don’t really get into the show until they go to Hollywood, but I certainly do watch and take it for what it is. I do agree that I want to see more singers move on. It’s funny how they’ll let some go on for ever and sing, and some people that are okay singers…they shut them up right away. So, you have to be either really good, or really bad to let Simon, Paula and Randy let you sing for more than 5 seconds. My only laugh out loud moment was the “we are all bothers” guy.
But at the end of the show they show all these people with golden tickets that we didn’t even get to see sing, those are the ones I want to see to get invested in the show more from the beginning. okay that’s all
I too would rather see some of the actual golden ticket holders sing.
I do like seeing Simon being nicer… or actually.. pushing Paula to be mean. They have hung back and made Simon do the bad cop so much… it is time they step up.
It’s sad to see them pick cosmetic perfection over talent year after year. You would think they would learn (cough**Katherine McPhee**cough) that beauty doesn’t equal interest or success.
And watching the desperate seek their 15 minutes is a waste. I also hate the manipulative vignettes with some of the contestants. Show me singing…not soap operas.
I agree cattyfan, must explain why Katherine got dropped from her label.
Aside from Katherine being dropped, what’s with most past Idols getting dropped recently???
on another note…
everything else aside, I just got word that I get to interview Jordin Sparks tomorrow for my radio show and TVGasm…I’m so excited! I can’t say I’ve heard her new CD yet, but that’s my homework tonight!
