Daddy should have picked David’s second song, because I wasn’t as impressed as I have been with him. However, Daddy Dearest is not so bad in David’s eyes… David Archuleta stood up for his dad by saying (about his dad), “I don’t really care what people say, but I know it’s affected him and stressed him out…I’ve heard some weird things that people have been saying, and it’s kind of a bummer. I think I, of all people, would know what’s going on, and he’s been great. He’s given me a lot of good advice and helped me from making any dumb decisions. He understands more than anyone what I want in music, and I’ve felt really blessed to have someone like that.”

So by that you’re saying, you’re totally brainwashed and your dad said he’s going to cut you if you don’t stick up for him, right? But then again, Dad does know best and it showed in your song choice. Only time will tell tonight.

In my opinion no one knocked it out of the park last night. David Archuleta was too rigid and is always too rigid, David Cook bummed me out until his last song, and Syesha Mercado just took a big poop on stage.

With that said, I can’t wait for tonight’s results.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

It’s suspected that’s part of the reason why dear old Dad was pulled. He’s a musician and apparently, he’s been giving David a lot of help picking songs and arrangements – help that the other contestants don’t get. There was speculation that little David would bite it after Daddy got kicked out and the night spoke for itself.
