O.M.G. I don’t want to say anything until you click after the jump…

Kris adam

The results were so nerve-racking last night…but alas Danny is gone! I’m so happy that he got the boot…I know that’s mean to say, but it was time.

Next week is going to be the Adam/Kris finale and–as Simon put it, the show will be, “a big ding-dong”.

Before I leave you, don’t you think Jordin did great? She’s become a real pro! Nice work Jordin.

Until next week…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Well, if the guest singer is wearing your name on her cape, then I’m guessing you’ll have no problem finding a place in the music industry, with or without Idol.

So I’m kind of hoping for Kris to win — for one thing, he’s stuck to his guns the entire time, despite the continued efforts of the producers/judges to get him out of there.

And although he’s a fundamentalist, I think it’s an admirable thing that he’s never played that up (I realize how difficult it is for these religious types to keep their mouths shut about their silly superstitions).

Seems like a likeable enough person, he could make an actual career at this. He just needs to enunciate a bit more when he’s singing.

Hambert no longer needs Idol, and he certainly doesn’t need to be forced to sing the schlocky songs that they force the idol winners to sing. So he’s better off losing.

That syrupy Idol style is right Kris’s alley.

Oh yeah, my heart was actually beating faster during the results show. Kind of sad, eh?

Danny is out due entirely to Paula’s song choice for him.

But he doesn’t have to worry…neither does Allison. The top four this year will all end up with album deals.

I haven’t been moved once this season to pick up the phone and vote for anyone…and I doubt that will change for the final.

Eh, I don’t think that all of the top 4 will get album deals.

Specifically, I don’t think Danny will. If I wanted to listen to a boring singer, I’d just pick Taylor Hicks – at least he used to dance amusingly.

But honestly, if Carly Smithson/Ramiele Malubay/Syesha Mercado haven’t gotten picked up by a record label a year from Idol – all of whom trounce Danny in the vocal department – I don’t really think that he’ll get anything.

But anyway, I was pleased as punch last night, I actually shrieked with joy when Danny was kicked off.

I can’t stand him and I’m glad he’s gone, although I think he should have been kicked off weeks ago. Oh well, at least he’s not in the finale. A Danny/Adam finale would have been painful.

What the heck is a “big ding-dong?” I’m assuming that’s supposed to be good?

^ The phrase comes from 19th-century Cockney rhyming slang, in which the bell-like onomatopoeic term “ding dong” is substituted for a rhyming “sing song.”

It can also mean a loud party or a big fight.
