Ann Curry returned to the Today Show this morning and had to face her arch nemesis, Matt Lauer! Grrrr.

It’s sooo brief, but not going to lie, it’s a little uncomfortable to watch. Matt opens with a “Ann thanks, good to see you.” And Ann responds with, “Matt, Good Morning,” with a nod. Nice, huh? Listen, I didn’t expect a real exchange, but Ann looks a little stand-offish, don’t you think? And good for her!!! I wish she would have kicked him in the shins!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I am actually not a huge fan of Ann Curry’s, but she got royally screwed by NBC and I’m sure Matt was a part of it (or at least could have saved her if he had wanted to). I thought her response to him – or lack of one – was hilarious and if you notice her body language, she is totally leaning away from him. Awwwwkkkward.

Yay Ann Curry— that lady has way too much class. I would not have expected anything less than her professionalism.

Okay, we’re all on board with the no-love-for-Matt thing, and I do like Ann for her style and class–so much nicer and more professional than KatieDidn’t. Now can anyone ‘splain what the attraction on the part of NBC and his fans could possibly be?

I remember when he was off on assignment– Olympics?– and was caught with his pants down. It was all forgive, forget and sweep under the rug. Anybody else would have been crucified. So what’s the deal?

Ann could have kicked Matt a little higher than the shins and I would’ve been happy.

LuAnn could learn a lot about class from Ann. Journalism students, lots and lots of folks got their foot in the national door via Chicago.

Good Morning, Hello, Hello Good Morning.

They are both useless and can barely read the words someone else wrote for them from a teleprompter. I can’t believe either one of them still have a job.
