I don’t know if you had a chance to watch President Obama on The View, but when Joy Behar asked him, “Should Snooki run as mayor of Wasilla?” Obama responded: “I got to admit, I don’t know who Snooki is.”

Here it is, in case you missed it (Exhibit A):

How DARE HE? He used a Snooki joke at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Granted, he doesn’t write most of his speeches, but how does he NOT know who Snooki is? There was a whole scandal on the tanning tax, and Sen. John McCain tweeted his sympathy to Snooki. President Obama, I thought you were way cooler, but you just lost major points!

Here’s President’s White House Correspondents Dinner (Exhibit B):

I’m actually kind of waiting for Snooki’s response. I’m sure she’s going to demand an apology, as she should. If he’s going to use her for a joke, she should be acknowledged.  Pfft. Sorry Snooks.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I’ve got to say, I would like to believe he DOESN’T know about Snooki. He has more important things to think about than to waste brain cells on someone called Snooki. (I also hope God never thinks about her.Along with anyone who has a life.) What on earth is “cool” about her? She’s a bump-it-headed freak!

Agreed, the same guy who has to deal with North Korea should NOT also have to have that deformed little Oompa-Loompa anywhere on his mind. That might be the ONE good thing about being president… I imagine you’re pretty insulated from pop culture. He’s missing those Dos Equiis “Most Interesting Man in the World” commercials, but he also probably isn’t seeing much Twilight shit, either. Maybe he could send a secret serviceman could drill her in the face again. I bet his poll numbers would go up.

Yes, but he shouldn’t have pretended to know who she was when he delivered his speech a few months ago. Makes you wonder what else he’s only pretending to know about as he simply reads whatever is placed in front of him.

Cattyfan, agreed. Although I wish I didn’t know who Snooki was. It’s completely disheartening to me that these ridiculously un-self-aware people are probably making quadruple what I make for doing absolutely nothing.

What was he even doing on The View in the first place?
