Interview: Nads Talks To Tanisha Thomas From Love Games

Watercooler

Tanisha Thomas Nadine Rajabi

Hey Gasmii! I had the chance to talk to the HBIC, Tanisha Thomas from The Bad Girls Club, and Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too.

I don’t know if you had the chance to check out the first episode of Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too, but it was pretty damn good. Tanisha hosts it, while Natalie, Lea, and Amber look for love. It’s worth checking it out, because it’s quite the sh*t show. And of course, Tanisha is fabu. I absolutely LOVE her.

Here’s the interview:

Check out Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too every Monday at 10/9c on Oxygen.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I loved this Nads! You did a great job and Tanisha is awesome. I like how you guys had all the stuff Tanisha wanted on the green screen as she said it. It really was very nice.

I put it up on my facebook with a link too. She reminds me of my roommates so I know I would like her if I saw her in real life. From the horror stories I hear about that show (I have never watched but have read recaps), she seems to be very well rounded and learned from her experience.

I thought the original H.B.I.C. was New York from “Flava of Love”. I would feel better if Tanisha was the original HBIC though because New York being it is just depressing, even if I did know her in real life.

You do seem to have a knack for it. It seems to come naturally to you, like you have a presence that makes people feel at ease around you. I would wind up spilling my guts if you interviewed me and it takes a while for me to open up. LOL
