In Touch weekly is reporting that the current season they’re filming of Jersey Shore will be its last. An insider said, “An executive producer announced that this season will be the last. She stressed to the cast that fans will remember them for this season, not the first, so they should bring their A game.”

Not shocking at all. These guys are getting old, and I’m stick of seeing old men drink and get in fist fights, aren’t you? How much more could they possibly do? Snooki got knocked up, The Situation went to rehab, JWoww had work done on her face, Ronnie has probably been through Anger Management classes…I think it’s safe to say that the cast has officially run itself into the ground.

I’ll probably watch the last season just because it’s the last season, but I’m sad to say that the show that I once loved so much is just lame to me now. But what I am happy about is watching Big Baboon…it’ll blow Jersey Shore out of the water–those Baboons really know how to fight. Ronnie should take note.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

The cast would probably say that was the end of an era, if they knew what an era was. Maybe now Vinny can finally go to law school like he always wanted. Can’t wait for the “Where are ther now?” special in ten years.

Oh Bratty, dare we hope that in ten years for the Where-Are-they-Now special people will say “Snookie who?”

It’s MTV, so the “Where are they now?” show will be shown around Christmas of this year.

It is scary that the photo above was only taken in the summer of 2009. They all now look 10-15 years older, or like they have been hit with the ugly stick.

They said season 5 was going to be the last season, too. I’ll believe it when I see (or rather, fail to see) it. And even if this is the last season at the shore with this cast, you know all going to jump onboard the spin-0ff train for as long as humanly possible. Sigh.

Yep– time to go. They have made a butt-load of money–even our beloved and oft mocked Rammi. Its true– they are all too old and stupid Angelina–boy did you mess this one up Toots–think of all you missed?? They didn’t throw you off the show, you left (twice) of your own volition. I think the rehab and pregnancy are the straws that broke the show. If not this would have gone on for a few more seasons.

@ 3 Carol-***snorting*** Where Are They Now?” at Christmas time–heeheehee
I chortle and snort b/c you hit the nail on head !!!
