J.Lo Is Probably Leaving Idol

Yesterday there were reports that Jennifer Lopez was thinking about leaving American Idol, but today E! News is saying that she’s “calling it quits.”

I think the funniest line quoted in E!’s report was, ”She’s just too busy.”

I love that she used American Idol to get her name back out there to revive her career, and as soon as she hit her high mark and gets named the most powerful celebrity by Forbes magazine, she ducks out! I’m sure part of the reason is that American Idol is kind of viewed as just another music competition show, when it used to be THE music competition show…which means she’s not the Queen Bee anymore. Plus, the fact that Brit Brit is going to collect $15 million to sit in the judges chair on a competing show probably isn’t making her too happy.

OR this whole blog could be wasted time and energy because this could be a PR ploy for her to get more money…I guess time will tell.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I love how they get these no-talent women to do these shows as if there are no talented women in America. Britney and J-Lo, really? I don’t think Britney has any right to judge anyone’s singing chops. Next thing you know, they’ll have Ashlee Simpson up there in J-Lo’s place.

It was when she started, but after she signed on for a second season she got i think somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 million, after asking for fifty.

Of course she’s busy; she’s gained another kid to take care of!

American Idol would be much better if Jo-Lo would just be the b*** she is! Everyone is the nice judge and it’s just a boring love fest.
