Jenny McCarthy Will Sub For Joy Behar **Upate* VH1 Ordered More Episodes

Jenny McCarthy is going to sub for Joy Behar when she leaves The View. I guess rumors have been circulating that Jenny is going to be Joy’s replacement, but she set the record straight. She said, “I will be helping them while they’re looking.” She went on regarding hosting The View, “I can’t [because] I have my own show…maybe someday in the future.”

That sounds like if her show gets the ax, then she’s on. I have no idea how her show is rating, but it can’t be great. Jenny would certainly give The View panel a run for their money. It’d be as if someone spiked their coffee. 

Honestly, I would never peg Jenny to be one of The View ladies, but maybe that’s what the show needs…

**UPDATE** VH1 ordered more episodes I think in light of her guest hosting on The View. I doubt the women that will watching The View will tune-in to her Friday night time slot. Btw, doesn’t her show look like a trashy rip-off of WWHL?

    Ewww. I can’t stand her. Or her army of anti-vaccine zealots. Why would anyone take medical advice from this moron? I am a daytime worker, so I think I have seen maybe 2 episodes of The View. So the only time I would have to watch her is when her inevitable gaffs land her on The Soup.

    Not a good replacement at all IMO. Now, if they really want to spice things up and bring in viewers they’d replace Joy with Kathy Griffin. Joy provides the comic \view\ and they need to replace her with someone who is a pro at that, and it’s a nice touch to have a little controversy as well. Kathy would certainly provide that! Alas, Babs would never let that happen, at least while Elizabitch finishes out her contract.

    yeah, the vaccine stuff-wtf? I never got that. she was on howard last week saying that she’ getting a lot of heat for saying she cured autism, so she’s calling her son, “recovered.” so ridic.
    Funny thing is that she leaves him during the week and only sees him on the weekends. I get it b/c of her schedule, but you’d think she’d figure something out if she was so devoted to her son. I’m not questioning her love for him, I just thought it was weird.
