kate gosselin - new tlc series

TLC just announced their new Kate Gosselin series…and, are you ready for this????

Gasmii, I’m pleased to present to you, Twist of Kate. Twist of Kate will have Kate visiting families across the country, live in their shoes, and then, try to help them. Almost like Tabatha’s Salon TakeOver, but a 100 times worse! Her show almost seems like a reality mockumentary, doesn’t it?

From TLC‘s announcement, “In each episode, she’ll walk a mile in someone else’s shoes — meeting real families in the middle of their own extraordinary challenges…She’ll try out their jobs … see how their home life runs … see what they’re up against … and find out what they do to let off steam. As Kate gets to know them she’ll roll up her sleeves and see what she can do to help.”

Is TLC out of their mind? Kate HELPING families, and giving advice?? Are they sure it’s not the other way around? I’d slit my wrists if I lived by Kate’s rules. If this is TLC‘s way of giving Kate “image rehab,” they’re WAY off.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

The first thing that came to mind after reading TLC’s description was N.Y. Goes to Work. Or whatever that show was on VH1, but on crack, which…. I won’t be watching either. Not a fan.

Shouldn’t other families be dropping in on her and showing her how to be a good parent?????

I was a better Mom to my Barbies when I was little.
