Kim Kardashian has joined the cast of Drop Dead Diva for a multi-episode arc in Season four. She’ll play a new love interest for angel-on-earth Fred. Josh Berman, executive producer of Drop Dead Diva said, “I’m ecstatic to welcome Kim to the Diva family. In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I’m blown away by her smarts, sense of humor, and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I’m so excited to see Kim ‘reinvented’ in the world of ‘Drop Dead Diva.’”

Yes, he actually used the word Kim and smart in the same statement. There has to be a rule somewhere about that, no?

Best part about this news is learning that Kim can read!!! It’s a good day!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Nads, we only have it on Josh Berman’s word that Kimmy is smart. As for reading, Lassie was a star, and I don’t think s/he could read.

I just watched a little snippet where she’s crying to her sister and scott about how she wasted everyone’s money and time on her wedding and although she’s practically sobbing, her face doesn’t move. So yea, good luck with that acting thing.

wow Kim can’t act! she’s really bad at it. I can’t believe she’s starring in a tyler perry movie. What the heck is this world coming to? So many actual talented actresses out there waiting to be exposed and recognized for their craft, and you cast kim? as an actress myself , this really bothers me.

Of subject, but I met Khloe last night at the Mavs game. She seemed really nice and down to earth. Would definitely go out drinking with her. The girl she was with however seemed dumber than a box of rocks.

Yeah, I can see it. She was a regular Ingrid Bergman in that film she did with Ray-J.

She’ll try to act, while I’ll try to drive a rusty nail into my forehead after performing a lobotomy. Which do you think will work better?
