kim richards

E! is reporting that Kim Richards may not be returning for season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to personal problems. I’m assuming it’s because she’s trying to get her life straight, and stop hitting the bottle. I feel sorry for Kim. I hope she does figure her sh*t out soon. They’re also reporting that Camille is most likely staying–I’ve called it the whole time. She just wants sympathy…that’s why she was pulling the “I’m not coming back” card. From what I remember hearing, they go into production soon…so they better start making some cast announcements!

Word is that Brandi Glanville is going to be the cast member, but who knows–it’s all hearsay for now.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Bummer. I only checked this show out in the beginning because I recognised Kim. I hope she gets her shit together and maybe she’ll make some guest spots. Does Schlemiel *really* think anyone’s going to have any sympathy for her? She’s not the only one who gets screwed over. I hope Brandi does join so she can tell Schlemiel, “Yeah, I know what it’s like to have my man leave me for another woman. But I didn’t get $50 mil out of it, so STFU!”

Oh no, someone that was sad, incoherent and boring for all but the last episode is leaving? Bring on the crazy delusional Camille! At least this way I’ll have some sort of emotion other than fatigue while watching.

Guess who’ Brandi’s new BFF? Cedric!! There are pics of the pair out on the town. If she gets casted, there drama level will be high for sure! I can see Kyle sharpening her claws as we speak.

Who’s watching the Dinner From Hell tonight? My dream would be for Flipit to do a combo recap of the Lost Footage and Dinner to give us one last fix before they dry us out like Charlie Sheen. “Just another hit man… I promise that’s all I need..”

I like Kim on the show. She seemed to have a comical side that we saw a glimpse of during the show. Playing armchair Dr. Drew, I think Kim has social anxiety and reluctant to attend large gatherings. Her sister drags her around to show she is from a famous family (remember how upset she was when Kathy and Co. did not come to the b-day party). Kim attend to appease Kyle but uses drinking to calm her nerves. I will miss her.

I remember reading that they’re considering dropping Taylor as well because the audience didn’t respond to her storyline like they thought they would, so they might bring on two new cast members instead. I’m with everyone else, the show would be better without her.

I’m not sad Kim is leaving. Her social anxiety made me squirm. I was irritated that a woman that age couldn’t stand up for herself. While I dislike Taylor she’s the type of person I like on my Housewive shows. I need girls that are able to fight (somewhat) coherently and not babble on. That leaves me looking like the crazy person because I am yelling at my tv “What the FUCK are you trying to say!!! For the love of all that’s holy spit it out!!!” and I don’t like to look crazy.

But if Kim leaves then the only thing we will be watching is Taylor perform the “hind lick” maneuver on Adrienne and Kyle.

The RHoBH is like watching a National Geographic film on natural selection. Only the strong survie and the weak get chewed up and spit out. Now, that Kim’s done for..who’s next? Without Kim to pick on, they’ll all just turn on each other..imagine Kyle and Taylor in a catfight. Actually, Taylor would just roll over and play dead like a possum. She’s definitely the next weakest..her or Camille. Oh wait, I forgot, Camille “took back her power.” *rolls eyes*

Phew…I was worried that Faye Resnick might be the new addition, especially since they gave her so much coverage on the “Producer’s Cut” of the dinner party from hell, and is Kyle’s BFF and now Camille’s sworn enemy. Just the sort of shit-stirrer Miss Andy would love to have aboard! I think Kim does need help though…and hope she gets it. She actually seems the most genuine of them all.

Faye Resnick is such a troublemaker. I hope she doesn’t come back unless it’s so she and Kyle can gang up on Taylor.

LOLOLOL @hind lick. That might be better suited for the skinemax movie The Real Sexy Hoeswives of Beverly Hills. Something Camille is no stranger too.

I’d actually really like it if it was a young hot girl that married rich. That really shook up things for the O.C. crew when Gretchen first arrived.

@Classy speaking of the OC crew, I see Lynne Curtin’s not in the cast this time around. Those Curtin’s really need to get their shit together. I’m kind of tired of OC. Bunch of blond bimbos and Vicki. Don’t know if I’ll watch this season.

@sarcasatire your apt comparison to natural selection reminds me of The Darwin Awards. “Honoring those who improve the species by accidentally removing themselves from it.” Luckily, the weak will just not be on the show, not removed from the species.

I liked Kim’s quirky sense of humor and will be a little sad a little glad to see her go. Just tired of seeing her be the whipping girl for her sister and Taylor. Speaking of which….GOOD RIDDANCE to ShanaTaylorShanaFordShanaFordArmstrong or whatever the fuck that grifters name is.

However, if the Armstrongs should return, Russell has been set up to be the new whipping post. With his poor misunderstood neglected wife and akward personality, he will be a perfect fill in for the absent Kim. Taylor and Kyle have soooo muuuuch in common with these burdensome family members.

Poor Kim, why should she return, for more abuse and another season for Taylor to dump all over her? She doesn’t need it. She was proud of her reputation with Disney and all her fans. You could see that it made her happy. I believe Kyle did talk her into doing this and then proceeded to trash her by the finale. She seemed devastated alone in the limo. Who wants to go through that? It was the most painful thing I have ever seen on reality tv. She may be an alcoholic but we and the whole world don’t need to have Kyle announce it with such distain. So, I do hope for her sake that Kim bows out as gracefully as possible and lets Taylor become the whipping boy that she should be. Let those bitches eat her alive. Yay, that would be a pleasure to view!!!!!

@2much, I always say I won’t watch but it’s already set up to record on my dvr (from previous seasons). I am sure I will get sucked in, yet again. I would like to know how Brianna and Jenna’s daughter are doing.

I wouldn’t want Kim back just to be another sad joke. Some will say that’s all she is, but others see something pure about Kim. It’s natural and the fact that she can’t verbalize and confront people is no reason to doubt her intelligence or her worth as a person.

She probably wants no part of it and I can’t blame her. Not because she’s a sad, stupid weakling, but because she knows herself better than she expresses and she knows she’d never really thrive in that atmosphere.
