Kris Humpries wants the engagement ring back that he gave to Kim K. Radar is reporting (based on the divorce case), ”Kris wants the ring back because the marriage only lasted 72 days and he believes it was based on fraud and deceit. Remember, Kim filed for divorce. Kris paid for that ring, and he just can’t fathom why Kim would want to keep it. It’s not like she is ever going to wear it again. Kris realizes that with Kim it’s all about material objects and she truly treasures things over people in her life. Kris wants a divorce trial so that the truth can finally come out. Amongst other matters, he wants to know about the Ferrari that the couple got from a very wealthy Malaysian businessman that attended the wedding. Kris was at Kim’s house when the car was delivered — it was given to both of them, but Kim has kept sole ownership and has used it extensively. She will be asked about it, under oath, on the stand at the trial.”

Good for Kris! He needs to put Kim’s ass on trial (pun intended). Honestly, why wouldn’t Kim just give Kris the ring back? Kim has her own money! It’s useless to her! Unless she’s planning on hawking it for money to fund a sequel to her sex tape to revive her career, she should give it back. It’s not that hard!

As for the Ferrari…I’d keep that car if I were Kim, too!

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Shouldn’t it be the jewelers who want the ring back? You know they got that ring for free.

Kris Jenner has the ring tied up in negotiations for the E! Karat,Kut, Kolor,Klarity tell all. Sources say that Khloe and Kourtney’s rings are pissed that Kris spends so much time with Kim’s ring.

    Didn’t she buy it though?

He does have claim over the Ferrari, but he needs to stop playing about the ring before he gets himself embarrassed in court. Regardless of who signed the check or whose name was on the card, I’m sure if you trace the money back, the ring was purchased by Kim.
He can’t even afford that kind of ring. It’s like….a quarter of his net worth.

The only interesting thing about this is the bizarre way laws vary state to state about legal rights to gifts, including engagement rings. For instance, in some places, if you get engaged on a holiday (Christmas for example) the ring belongs solely to the recipient as a genuine “gift” regardless of who paid for it. In other cases, it’s just considered property and the person who paid for it can demand either the ring or the equivalent in cash. Laws aside, the custom seems to be that whoever initiated the divorce forfeits the ring.

Of course, since the entire Kris/Kim marriage was a huge sham that they were both in for the money, I don’t see why they don’t sell it and just split the cash to end the whole stupid argument.

Interesting as the ring is considered a legal contract and the woman by law must give it back if she breaks up the relationship. Can’t wait to see this played out.

Smart people don’t need to see a divorce trial to figure out the truth, Kris. You married a Kardashian. However, on the other hand…………you married a Kardashian. And you have to live with that.

Usually, the whole giving back of the ring is for when an engagement ends, not the marriage. After marriage its considered community property unless is was given in lieu of a gift, i.e. birthday, Christmas, Valentines, etc., unless you can prove fraud. Chris Humphries is a jerk, but even a jerk didn’t deserve what she did to him. I really think he honestly believed they were a couple.

I think the network foot the bill for the ring/got it for free to pimp the jewelers but technically I think he does have claim to it.

And even if he doesn’t have claim it’s pretty tacky to keep the ring when you do the ending. What if it had been a family ring?

I want/dont want this to go to court. I want to see Kim get knocked down a few more pegs (and hopefully vanish forever) but I don’t want her to get more press. She feeds on it.

Did you hear that she was banned from the MET Gala because Anna Wintour didn’t want her slumming the place up?
