Hot off Larry King’s retirement, it looks like America’s Got Talent host, Piers Morgan will be his replacement. Radar online is reporting that Piers’ deal is worth over $10 million, but who knows the truth. This could all be a rumor, as nothing is confirmed yet.

In case you missed it, Larry gave a retirement statement yesterday,

Before I start the show tonight, I want to share some personal news with you. 25 years ago, I sat across this table from New York Governor Mario Cuomo for the first broadcast of Larry King Live.

Now, decades later, I talked to the guys here at CNN and I told them I would like to end Larry King Live, the nightly show, this fall and CNN has graciously accepted, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids’ little league games.

I’ll still be a part of the CNN family, hosting several Larry King specials on major national and international subjects.

I’m incredibly proud that we recently made theGuinness Book of World Records for having the longest running show with the same host in the same time slot. With this chapter closing I’m looking forward to the future and what my next chapter will bring, but for now it’s time to hang up my nightly suspenders.

Word is that Larry’s number one choice for a replacement is Ryan Seacrest, but you can bet I’d NEVER watch if he replaced Larry. I don’t watch now, and I’d especially have incentive not to watch if Ryan came on. I don’t understand why don’t they hire Anderson Cooper? He’d be an awesome fit! He’s funny, he’s a great reporter, and he’d look great in suspenders. CNN isn’t announcing anything for a few weeks, but for what it’s worth, Piers isn’t a bad choice over Ryan…but he’s not my first choice.

Honestly, I’m just glad it’s not Joy Behar, she wouldn’t be so hot in suspenders…

**Update**We may have the pleasure of seeing Joy in suspenders…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.
