- Hollywood does right! I know typing those words sound bizarre and are not often strung together but none the less here we are. The William Morris Endeavor Agency (mouthful) have dropped long time client Mel Gibson after it was outed that he used the N-word. Turns out agents do have morals. (via Deadline)

-ABC’s Bachelor/Bachelorette has yet another blemish on its already spotty relationship record. Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are “taking a break” which we know in high school talk means “we are breaking up but just don’t want to admit it yet” (via People)

-Yesterday I wanted to be a painter and today I want to be a waiter. Why the sudden change in mind? Well Ryan Seacrest dropped a 10K tip after buying a roomful of rich people’s dinner ($41,000). I am so in the wrong business. (via TMZ)

-For those of you who have been sitting on pins and needles-wait no more. Celine Dion and her husband have announced the couple are having twin…….BOYS. Whew. Now your world is complete. (via CNN)

Concerning Mel Gibson… why should I care what he thinks of other ethnic groups? There are so many Hollywood celebrities I disagree with that if I refused to patronize them, I’d miss out on a lot of great entertainment.

I think there is a difference between having a difference of opinion with someone and supporting someone who is proving to have racist tendencies. thoughts?

Because MG’s a lunatic throwback who hates pretty much everyone. The guy is pure scum and should have been blacklisted long ago.

So, what? Sean Penn says that you should be imprisoned for calling Hugo Chavez a dictator. Should I refuse to see anything he does? I don’t care whether Mel Gibson is a racist or a bigot. That’s his problem, not mine. If you don’t want to see his movies, then don’t. I don’t even care if he makes any more movies. I won’t miss him one way or the other. He doesn’t mean anything to me.

Please…most of Hollywood is scum. There are plenty of “stars” who have loathesome personalities or who have done disgusting things. Alec Baldwin comes to mind. He didn’t gete blacklisted for his hateful rant toward his child. And JC already pointed out Sean Penn. The difference, of course, is these guys are darlings of the far left. Mel’s politics are conservative…and apparently his view of races is plain idiotic.

Mel’s tirade was hideous…but I was more offended by how he spoke to the woman who, just months ago, he claimed to love. The woman he trashed his marriage of 27 years for. However, that has nothing to do with his ability to do his job…which is to direct and act. As someone already said, if I stopped watching actors or lilstening to singers with whom I disagreed, there wouldn’t be much entertainment left for me.
