About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

LOVING the last link, the A.V. Club’s “best tv episodes of the decade (from shows not on any of our other lists),” and totally agree with these choices:

Sex and the City’s “Easy Come, Easy Go” – I really feel like the A.V. Club got it right with this one. SATC really does feel like a snapshot of the times.

King of the Hill’s “Bobby Goes Nuts.” – Dude, nothing is funnier than Bobby Hill kicking people in the balls and yelling, “I don’t know you that’s my purse!” at the top of his lungs. Fox peeps – release the rest of the seasons on DVD already!

Alias’s “Phase One.” – One of the most exciting episodes of the show and probably of tv EVER. This was when the show really flipped things over. I disagree that it changed the complete dynamic of Alias (yeah, Season 4 did that, thanks), but it deserves a spot on the list. Man, I miss this show.

Desperate Housewives’s “Pilot” – While I don’t think the show went completely downhill until season 5 (wow, did that suck or what?) I will agree that the mysterious, hilarious, intriguing, baffling pilot/first season is incredibly historical TV. Also, you should read my recaps of the show. Just sayin’!

Party Down’s “Celebrate Rick Sargulesh.” – while this episode was indeed funny (the mob stuff was inspired), this show is on the whole awesome; could we expect less from “Veronica Mars” guy Rob Thomas? This show remains the most hilarious and best show you’ve never seen.

Parks and Recreation’s “Practice Date” – while this isn’t the best episode of the season (“Ron and Tammy” is the one), it’s still completely hilarious, showcasing Amy Poehler’s comedic talent (she’s a funny drunk), and giving Rashida Jones some great moments. Parks and Recreations may be the best thing on NBC right now (followed closely by Community), so you need to watch it.

I agree with the Parks and Rec “Ron and Tammy” praise – that episode brought out the lols. Community is hilarious. As is Modern Family which is my new favorite comedy this season.

I agreed with the “best tv episodes of the decade” on the episodes of shows I had watched (never got into Rome or Carnival and a few of those other HBO or Shotime shows). But, I’m surprised to see nothing from Weeds or Mad Men made the cut.

Well, this particular list was only comprised of shows that didn’t make their other lists – I’m sure Mad Men and Weeds were on those.
