Maksim Chmerkovskiy is officially leaving Dancing with the Stars to pursue other TV and movie projects. He’s been on the show since 2006 and of course has threatened to leave a million times, but is doing it for real this time. I’m glad that his ego thinks Hollywood is going to be knocking down his door for so many projects. Kind of funny. What’s he going to do? Pitch DWTS’ rival show? Dancing with Maks? As big of an ass he was on the show, he was still fun to watch. Assholes make good TV, but that’s not news.

TMZ is reporting that his brother Val will still be on the show, so you’ll still get your dose of manly Chmerkovskiy.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I want to say I’m shocked, but I’m not. He’s been threatening to quit every season. I don’t know where he thinks he’s going to get a better job. No one has ever said for sure how much the pros make, but ‘guess-taments’ are around $11,000 a week or at least $100,000 a season.

His brother Val really stepped it up last season and took the limelight away from him. I don’t think I’ll miss whats-his-name at all.

I don’t blame him when the judges have it in for him and the producers always give the best female dancers to the annoying Derek the funny looking Mormon and Mark Balls.

I’d rather see Val anyway. I really hope Derek is leaving. Give some other men a chance to get a woman who doesn’t have 2 left feet. Oh, here’s an idea. Let’s see how Padma does on the dance floor.

Derek IS coming back. He is the only reason I watch. Maks is an ass.
