Did you watch Mama Elsa on WWHL last night? How endearing what she? I was genuinely nervous for her, and was on my toes during the whole show. I knew she’d be amazing, but I felt like a soccer mom watching her. Being on LIVE is hard, but she handled it like a pro. I loved that she said that her secret to success was marrying a gringo. Priceless! I know Marysol didn’t get a lot of play, but if you think about it, Elsa is kind of a show stopper, so what’s a girl to do? I know that some of you are with me on the Elsa love, and some don’t get it, but I was damn proud of our Miami Mama!

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    I have to get up at 6 am, but there’s was nothing that was going to keep me from watching mama Elsa. She was a riot. I loved that she hated the car ride with the butler. HA!

    I’ve been loving that picture of her at the top, where she’s sloppily holding her glass of wine. You just know she stumbles around, sloshing her wine all over the place.

    Elsa was so funny. “Why should I work? I married a gringo so I didn’t have to work.” Isn’t that the Housewives mission statement?

    I wonder if now that Andy got what he wanted is he gonna send Elsa back home on the Chinatown bus?

    When RHOM started, I was so flummoxed by Elsa’s appearance, I hadn’t realized what a HOOT she is, usually without even trying. After last night’s WWHN, I admit it, I absolutely adore Elsa and would love to go drinking with her. And Flipit. All the time.

    I don’t want the season to end – only cause I’ll miss your recaps…

    I love how Andy danced around her looks, but never came straight out (as if he could do anything straight) and asked her about her face.

    it is a shame the season will end soon b/c I’ll also miss Elsa. The finale is pretty damn good b/c it’s Elsa heavy! I can’t wait for them to do another season where it’s produced as a Housewives. I’m certain that it’ll be much more interesting when it’s done as an official Housewives show.

    Nobody’s going to ask Elsa about her face. She’s obviously got some kind of condition and from the photos that they showed on Andy’s show it hasn’t always been that way. You’d think plastic surgery would be able to help though. OR maybe she doesn’t care what people think!
