Mc Hammer is coming out with a new search engine to rival Google, Bing and other big sites. He’s calling it WireDoo. MC said that WireDoo is “about relationships beyond just the keywords. The engine crawls and the algorithm is designed in a way to get all of the related information to your query and then package it consistently in one environment,” Hammer said. “Kind of thinking, right? The way you would think. If it’s a car … it’s not just about the word ‘car,’ but it’s about insurance, it’s about the specs, it’s about mileage, it’s about style, it’s about all these things. So that’s the way it works.”

Okay, so by that he means…it’s JUST another search engine? I love that he’s jumping on the internet bandwagon in 2011. I think the funniest part about this whole story is that he’s going to take on Google. I wish it were Aprils Fools’ Day, but it’s not…

Just for sh*ts and giggles I think his tagline should be, “You Can’t Touch This.”

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Figures. We lose a visionary like Steve Jobs and Hammer steps up with a vision of his own. I need a man with his outdated dance moves to help me negotiate the interwebz, don’t you?

MC Hammer is straight up having a concert at the Interstate Fair in my little corner of the world tomorrow night. I wasn’t planning on going to the fair, but I might have to go now just to heckle him about how shitty this WireDoo idea is.
