Ah, Real World, no matter how much trash you filter on and off of my TV, there’s one piece that won’t ever leave my memory. Tami! Every time I see a blanket I think of rape. Thanks, T! Enjoy!

About

Currently, Flipit's writing Real Housewives of Beverly Hills recaps, which you can find here. You can also find him doing a gossip segment twice a week called BS of the Day and video recaps of Project Runway All Stars, as well as spoof ReDubs of the coming soon trailers at the end of RHOBH!

Ronnie Karam has been with TVgasm since 2006 , which has given him the opportunity to make fun of hundreds of TV's most loved and hated reality whores. His plan in life was to be Julia Roberts but that plan was stolen by, well, Julia Roberts. He'll get you one day, JULIA ROBERTS!! When not making himself giggle for the gasm, Ronnie performs improv and sketch comedy at IO West in Hollywood a couple of times weekly while using the lovely California days to audition for commercial roles such as "ADORABLE MEXICAN UNCLE". Seriously. He would like to thank Jesus, Buddha and Xenu for the blessings they've bestowed. The writers here are the best around, and he's honored to be associated with them. I’m not ashamed to admit that I still constantly say “that wasn’t not funny” just to make myself laugh.

I love you calling it “blanket rape”. I knew exactly what you were talking about without even seeing the pic. That was the OG of ridiculous, unnecessary reality drama. It was the very first THE CHRISTENING.

After watching the video I looked at some other videos from that season. Honestly it was kinda weird, it was like watching an old movie. I was born in ’94 so it felt different compared to Real World now.

All I think of is her wiring her jaw shut like a whacko…and blanket rape.

It’s a relief to see that Tami has matured from being such a melodramatic giant cunt sore and.. oh… wait a minute.

    Never mind.

One of my all time favorite Real World moments! God, I wish they still played the old seasons in re-runs.

How I long for the days when Tami’s mouth was wired shut!

Hey, Enrique — if you have Hulu Plus, you can watch all of season 2! All of it! Including Tami’s Hulk-out. I had totally forgotten about this until this post. I long for the days when The Real World was about honest, bitchy, melodramatic, crazy drama instead of who-got-crabs-from-the-hot-tub-oh-who-cares-let’s-get-wasted! fiesta it is now.

I nominate Felicity getting her hair cut for the next memory lane. I love that show so much, but holy shit, there was SUCH a brouhaha about her g.d. hair cut that I feel the need to comment on it.

I’m a slave, I’m a slave, I’m a slave to your lovin’….Just the mention of her name makes me sing it.

I just want to add that I screamed “That Wasn’t Not Funny!” all weekend in memory of the good old days.
