Michael J. Fox wants to make his TV return. He’s teamed up with director Will Gluck (Easy A), and writer Sam Laybourne (Arrested Development, Cougar Town) to do a series inspired by his own life. I guess they’ve already pitched the four major networks and everyone wants it, so there is a bit of a bidding war going on. Could be insane if the show goes straight to series which never happens, but who knows…maybe a network will up the ante to sweeten the pot. I would mind seeing Alex P. Keaton back on my screen…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I enjoy him on the Good Wife, I hope if he gets his own show he’d still be on TGW.

My first crush! It must have been something about the sensible tie and sweater combo.

I don’t know about first, but MJF was a major crush. He just seems to be so genuine.

I may have been heartbroken when I found out about the Parkinsons, but I was inspired even more when we discovered that Hubbycat has the disease. It is more horrible than anyone can imagine, with side effects that are even more devastating than the original.

I will be soooooooooooo effing happy to see him with his own show!!!!!

I was heartbroken, too, when I heard of his diagnosis. Grandma Cos had Parkinson’s, too. I hope Hubbycat is in as good condition as he can be, under the circumstances.

Thanks!!! He’s strong and has always been active which I believe plays a major part.

    Besides, he has me.

Awwww Snowy and Cosmo— many many prayers for good health and healing. Papa Cawfee was diagnosed in Dec 2010. In true Papa fashion he took it on the chin and exercises daily and follows up with the doc. He also joined a support group.

I hope this show comes to pass. He is a talented guy so why couldn’t it work. His health notwithstanding of course.

Good things happen to strong people because they make them happen. I hope the best for Grandma Cos and Papa cawfee!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are all lucky to have us in their lives because we are — well, maybe not good influences, but we sure give off great vibes!!!!!!!

Oh, thanks for your kind words Snowy and Cawfee! Sadly, G-ma has not been with me for many, many years. And, I did not get to talk to her for several years before that because her meds made her so emotional. She could not talk for more than 2 minutes without being a weepy mess. Thankfully, medicine has advanced to the point where your loved ones (and the ever-so-cute MJF) can have some normalcy. Best wishes to you and yours!

Well thanks to you, Cos. So sad that you couldn’t talk to her.

Richard Thompson, author of the incomparable Cul de sac is retiring because of that damned disease.

    Sad.
